Man that took a while. One harvest to be exact. Jeez. I was being tested everyday these past two months. Nobody taught me anything except what I read and that was the problem, figuring everything out for Myself. I was building 3 new rooms, working on my own crosses, pheno hunting a hundred plants running these 2 rooms and taking care of patients. My head hurt so bad, I remember throwing up in the morning cause of the stress. I woke up to powdery on my giant trees and I straight up cried. These 16 plants had a root aphid explosion Along with my veg room. I got drunk every night in my misery. Lol I don't want you guys to feel bad for me, cause the light is shinning, my dad told me that I just have to go through this. I feel much better now, more confident and ready to KILL it, straight massacre these bitches.

lol, i saw this picture and started laughing. thats crazy.

ya i second the Nano's comment, i just made the switch to digital ballasts and these were what i ended up with. only 8 1K's but the 1 thing i really like about them is the running temp, never gets hot for me on 240v.

PS just curious how many ballasts that is? i may have missed that part.

40 on that wall all 600 they run very cool. There is no ac in this area surprised me, but I find I have no phone service and whacked out wifi lol

One way to neutralize the frustration is teaching others... Im all ears and would love to hear how you battled and hopefully triumphed against the root aphids and powdery mildew! Keep your head up and use your tribulations as inspiration to compose a wicked horn piece, i heard some of your music and it was an aural and mental message to say the least!

Interesting, I actually saw Nine Inch Nails a long time ago 15 or so years now but I will never forget walking up to entrance there were signs posted that said simply "No whips, No chains" I remember thinking to myself oh boy this is gonna be a fun show.

I am also curious about how you battled those root aphids. Bastards aren't they I would take a spider mite battle any day over those fuckers.

I was in week 5 when powdery mildew exploded. I grabbed a sulphur burner immediately, zone and penetrator, h202, milk, green cure. I never sprayed buds before, 12 harvests never. I started wiping leaves that did not work. Everyday I sprayed and everyday it came back. Green cure did the best job but I burned the shit out of my buds in the process. Never use full strength with that stuff! After harvest I dunked everything in h202 and did the best I could. I sprayed all my moms and clones with eagle 20 then hit them with banner maxx. I am fogging and wiping everything with bleach, physan 20 and borax. Burning sulphur constantly. I picked up powdery mildew by coming into contact with it and bringing it my room. I was inexperienced and never dealt with this before.

Root aphids holy shit I hate those things. I need to get on caps bennies ASAP. I have this stuff called azatin, which killed them. I also sprayed a product by bonide that has pyrethiens all over the roots and crown fed them that which was the best instant kill. I hate using chemicals. A pro would have used caps bennies, but I run sterile res following quantum 9 but I think it's time for a change.

I have been there it almost makes me sick to my stomach to cut a bud only to submerge it in h2o2 water.

My last two outdoor runs have been lost to bud rot from caterpillars. Those little bastards. I even sprayed Bt up until week 4, and they showed up by like week 7 and fucked me. So sad cutting a cola and seeing the inside just rotted out with mold. :(

Oh and forgot to ask...why stainless steel? Does it hold temps better?

I got real tired of leaking buckets. Over time plastic will crack especially when running colder temps. These buckets will out live all of us, they will never have one problem. Kiss leaks good bye.
Those heavy harvest lids from cc cracked on me when I sat down on the bucket. Commercial facilities will use stainless

I hear this can be strong enough for those with the right electronic snooping gear to find and locate you. I don't know how much truth there is to this.

I got it once, used eagle 20 once and it's never been back. If you can get the jump on fungus, you're miles ahead. Consider using a biologically alive foliar spray, like Cap's OGBiowar foliar pack. This proactive approach is the business against opportunistic infestations of many sorts. It's my pet theory that this amounts to populating the territory with bugs we like, to make it more difficult for bugs we don't like to get a toehold. This idea also helps account for the stellar performance of my RDWC systems, despite the fact that I do not ever rinse them with an antibacterial solution. Ever. I did also inoculate them with Cap's paks, I'm sure that made a big difference.

Back to your magical mystery marijuana manufacturing machine for a moment, Wavegem- do you just run this one room for 12 hours and that's it, or do you have another room on the flip?

I get a lot of efficiencies by breaking things up, to the point where I've found it advantageous to have four separate bloom zones, each with its own lighting schedule, environmental control and separate climate. Then I run them 16 days apart, so that every 16 days 1/4 of the setup gets chopped, and then immediately replaced. This breaks up the work, it breaks up the crop, it breaks up the money- and it really smooth out cash flow issues!

It really simplifies and shrinks the veg area as well, because now you can have several zones that change at the same time the bloom rooms do. This is how 260sq ft only needs 40sq ft of total veg space, including keeping moms and a bullpen of babies to assemble batches with. The best part is that now it's easy to grow bloom ready minitrees, so a bloomroom need never run in any other state than the one for which it was designed.
