Do you get many helicopters round your way?
never, we have flying lessons around the area so once in a while we get the od small plane but thats all, plus my spot is really hard to see because its on a slope surrounded by trees and foliage.

well i doubt google earth is a problem seing as how the pictures on there are from 4 years ago, and it would look like a pin prick even if you were looking for it. as for walkers this spot is situated on a slope, with spiky bushes and thick bushes concealing the entry to the top and bottom of the slope, basically if someone finds this spot i will be impressed.

I know you don't like the looks of that soil, but to my eyes it appears to be incredibly rich. Since you have so much verdant growth, especially ferns, I think you'll be ok on the rain. The plants look very happy and healthy!

Looking good again Wiggles!! Nice to hear you're experiencing this mini heat wave! A nice solid week of sunshine should do them all the good in the world getting nice and established. A little dry weather should encourage those roots to go seeking moisture so that may help establish them to their new home better.

As for water, maybe, if you can, rig up some sort of rain catcher. I know because of the remoteness it's not all that easy but I think if you could it would help out in the long run.

Any way, just an idea, keep up the good work!!

I have to agree..I love the ferns! I would love to live where there are wild ferns!
I think Those need water..(i always killed my ferns)to hot and dry here
Your plants looks good!:)
Hopefully you will get rain. If not,
Maybe, You could ask a trusted family member friend to help you carry some water up?

I dont know what everyone else thinks, but you might want to space those girls out a bit more.
Less u plan on harvesting early... Outside those babbies should become easy 4-6' in diameter if not more.
To much crowding will help lead to bud rot and stifle growth and less fruit.
Other than that they look nice and healthy.

yeah after digging that soil up i realised its still good, allot of composting plants under the surface and its got allot of perlite from last few grows. i think the soil holds allot of moisture if you go down about a foot so im not worrying to much about watering.

due this heat wave is intense! :) its been 28 degrees over hear every day! any idea when we next get rain? i would love to build a rain collector thing but i don't think i could get it up there. the ground where the plants are is like a dish so im hoping the rain water will just fill it up and soak through, when it rains that is.....

yeah its bracken, ferns are a bit more pretty, and they dont grow as tall, they make perfect cover for the garden

yeah i was thinking that to, but the way my plants usually veg they don't take up allot of space, heres an example, they are more like little christmas trees and they don't bush out to much

hey y'all heres the patch today, it hit 30 degrees today and i haven't been able to water them much because of work. i think they are gonna val behind and not grow enough but im waiting on rain, altho my belligerence comes from the forecast that said next week will be twice as hot.... this would be music to my ears but without water its practically a death sentence for these girls. fingers crossed for rain, never thought id say that
