Congrats on a SUPER first grow kusher!!! You've got that LED rockin' in there bro! Don't let the ignorant haters like our sad friend "realist" '(talk about being mis-named)! put you off. It always blows my mind that anyone can get big-headed over their grow! I find it to be a very humbling experience! Just because you can pour some water on dirt...or can read a feed schedule, DOES NOT make you hot shit! The plant does all the work! I find they do best when I just try to stay out of their way! lol.

Anyway...congrats again, bro! I just started some Skywalker Kush, so I'll be watching with extreme interest! What's the odor level like on them at this point? I run a stealth apartment grow using an Induction light. Low-odor is a concern for me, and I'm a little worried this Skywalker may be a bit "louder" than is good. Thanks in advance!

as of right now very very little to no odor unless you touch the plant. But I expect it to get pretty stinky in these last 5 weeks. ill update you. Are your skywalker plants from clone or seed?

I only have one. A friend gifted me one bean of the Skywalker Kush. It's a female seed from Reserva Privada. They are one of my favorite breeders right now, so I was excited to have a chance to grow it out. I don't know much about it other than the breeder's description (and pics), but it looks like straight fire! Do you know the history/genetics of yours?

yeah mines the original So Cal cut that has the three fingered leaves, or known as "sativa kush" some say its closest to the "original OG" taste and smell, got it from a Cali OG. The RP cut is fire too but I believe it's a indica dominant pheno and it's a lil different but either way it's an OG so expect potent smoke

Sounds great, man! I'd like to be running your cut! The original Skywalker (I believe) came about from the same original lines used by DJ Short in creating Flo and Blueberry. Or at least, this is what I've been told. I've never grown it out, but got to smoke some Skywalker years ago, and it was potent as fuck! Yeah...I agree...I think we're in for some fire! I'll shoot you a link when I get some pics up of mine. I hope to have time to update my journal over the weekend.

I'm doing the "apartment thing" too, so I understand the importance of having a very small "footprint" in terms of power draw and heat. I decided to go with Induction lighting and am pleased with the power draw and heat from it. Very manageable to this point. I haven't completed an entire flowering cycle with it yet, so the jury is still out on whether it's going to earn a permanent spot in the tent. It's sure looking good so far though.

I know some folks who use LED for flowering with very good success. Yours are certainly looking good too!

So I actually met with a local grower today just a hobbyist in his closet. But he is doing LED's. He had a few different types. UFO LED? not very familiar or knowledgeable about them. anyways. his plants were a few weeks into flower and they looked very healthy compact, flowering very nicely. I couldn't say i noticed a difference from an hps grow to his LEDs. I was very impressed. Of course finished product is the only factor. we can grow pretty buds but if the thc aint there then i aint smokin it.

I just wanted to give a quick feedback to what i witnessed today. If only the prices of these set ups would lower i would be more inclined to use them.
