Here is what makes my world go around other than my wife & growing. Been riding & wrenching since the mid-70's. Added growing just a couple of years back.

i like grabbing scrap wood from job sites and making weird things for our cats. funny, a cardboard box or some scrap wood makes better play things for them than expensive extravagant cat trees.

Looks like the one that got away the other day on the Gunnie.... LOL.....

I think that fish was good Karma coming back to me because earlier that day I took a hook out of my friends finger using a little trick I learned watching fishin shows. It was a treble hook and buried well past the barb. I wish I would have got a video cause it was funny watching him dance around like a little girl.lol So any ways I have to cut it out of his shirt then cut the squid of of it and then I cut the other two hooks off. I tied some leader to the eye of the hook and held it with one hand making sure the angle stayed right. Then I took some braid and doubled it up and looped it around the hook itself right on the bend, wrapped it around my hand and gave it some slack and then I popped it right out Bam! Was cool as shit!! Saved him a trip to the hospital and then we went fishing. What a great week. Had the time of my life with my family and my best friend.

That's why I always fish with a barbless hook. That technique does work...some how I always hook myself with a dropper.

WOW...the farmers are into all kinds of cool things! I dig old Fender guitars/amps, blues and jazz! Here's a pic of my beloved 1963 Strat:

Body Front

Probably my favorite all-around guitarist is Ronnie Earl. Check him out tearing it up with his band on YouTube! The video quality's not too good, but it rocks! This was shot back when Ronnie was still battling a monster herion addiction. (He's tweaking like hell in the video)! He's clean now and playing better than ever. He doesn't play allot outside of the New England Area these days, but if you ever get a chance to catch him live, nobody puts on a more intense show. I used to play full time back in the day, and was fortunate to get to open for Ronnie at a large outdoor Blues festival. We got the chance to smoke up after the show and jam a bit, and I even traded guitars with him. (Not the one in the pic). Ahhh...those were good times, but I sure wouldn't want to go back to that diet of 4 a.m. convenience store hot dogs...you know, with the crusty black chili! Haha! That's about the best you could hope for to eat most nights. Oh well...the smoke was good, and there was always plenty of it!

Here's a YouTube vid of Ronnie and his old band...

Haha...check out "Tony Z." tearing it up on the B-3!Yeah...I'm older than dirt, but I think it's cool as hell! Do yourself a favor...if you're not going to check out but part of the vid...check out the last half. That's where it gets really good! From about 2:15 on... Enjoy!

Best,

Max :wacky:

"Pitter patter"? More like thundering in our house, and we only have two and they're pretty small by your kitty standards. They got kicked out of the bedroom this morning for that rambunctiousness. I love them, but God damn it, let me sleep!
