Mind you brother, i'm making educated guesses. I'd never suggest anything i wouldn't be willing to try myself.
I understand and thank you so very much.
Tomorrow I'll pull one of the plants our of the bucket when the lights come on and have a look see. For what it's worth I haven't seen any bugs in any of my indoor plants.

Keep me posted on the root health. Ill check this thread tomorrow.

Good Morning, Puscifer. When we slid the bucket away from the rootball and found no sign of bugs or eggs, plus roots all bright white. Not sure if you would consider that root bound. I do all my flowering in 3 gallon containers.
First the roots.

And last but not least we had a butterfly come out first thing this a.m.

I'm gonna bump up the feeding on the 2 worse looking of the three and see what transpires.

Nice shot of the Monarch!
Those roots look damn healthy so we can cross that off the list of possibilities. However, they may end up root bound. It always amazes me how my coco plants can get 3-4 times bigger than ones in soil without getting root bound.
Those roots are healthy so it may be that they're hungry as hell.
Keep me posted will ya.

I'm using 3 gal pots(some bigger)and if I go up to 5 gallon bucket I can only get 2 in my cabinet instead of three. I'm guessing root-bound plants will not get as big as they normally would?
Got a local supplier of ewc that I been checking out. Looks like it's time to go throw some of my pennies his way. The place is www.bestbuyworms.com They are local to me and $7.50 for a 10 lbs.
Thanks y'all for the help

When they begin to get root bound you'll notice the lower leaves will point down, even after watering.
Do you repot for root bound after your into flowering? Or is there some other trick to the trade...

anyone read this story about cell data dumps & mobile towers the police are using all over? that's the end of me & smartphones

soser, the weather & growing is great down here but the pigs suck!
I love it there .... Bahia beach bar , or the parrot is where i usually can be found as the parrot bar if you go there today you will know where i live ......lol.. and got a friend who owns a penthouse above fat tuesdays on Ocean Drive been there several times also , almost bought a condo when the market was good but the fee's were insane for a vacation/part time home .

Just for comparison; In veg I feed with every watering (GH Flora 3-2-1 @1/2 strength plus 1 tsp/gal of MaGiCal). My tap Ph is similar to yours. I use the same nutrients for Coco or Soil so my ph is set @ 5.8
Here's a GorillaGrape mom, in soil. I took these pics two minutes ago...(The leaf shot is meant to show the plants health)

So when you say 3-2-1 are you talking mil per gallon? I mixed that up today in 5 gallons and it read 490 ppm's and 220 of that is my tap so 270 ppm's of nutes. You then cut that in half so only 135 ppms plus your magical. Do you feed like that no matter how big they are in veg?

No, tsp/gal. So 1-1/2 tsp of Grow, 1 tsp of Micro and 1/2 tsp Bloom, per gallon.
And yes, I feed this ration right from rooted clone. Remember, once a clone has sufficient roots for growth you can feed it the same strength as the plant it came from without issue. I run that veg formula for everything in my veg room, regardless of medium. Makes thing nice and simple:D
*My tap water EC is .8, 400 ppm/500 scale. Just tested it*
