I went to my first 49ers game October 2011...i ended up buying three strains from some guys. One of which was Chemdog #4. Dude was raving about how exceptional it was, how exclusive his cut was, and how it was organically grow...yada yada yada. I'm like yeah I'm from the east coast, but I grow too. In my mind I am the grand champion of all smokers lol and my lungs are made of 100% U.S. steel. Anyway, I didn't get a chance to blow that strain while tailgating. I get back to my hotel pissed we lost to the Giants, so I decide to see what all the fuss over a true version of Chemdog was. I had grown some Chemdog hybrids before, so I expected to not be all that impressed. Now let me say that the strain was out stinking the other two (Blue Dream and I forget the other), but nothing I for hadn't seen before. Once I ground it up the smell instantly reminded me of pumping gas lol. I sparked up a very nice sized Raw, maybe a 1.3 or so sample. My first hit induced coughing, which I never do...about 10 seconds later my eye lids shut...I was literally high as gas, one hit. I had been smoking nothing but high grade since 2004, growing since 2006, gone years smoking 18+ grams of mid a day to the face (the Dutch Master era), the list goes on and on. But, that Chemdog #4 sample whooped my ass!!! I was so strong on the inhale that it was difficult to smoke...not harsh, but the taste was not appealing and the expansion was tremendous (which is something I actually like and don't mind). The taste on the exhale was gasoline with skunky under tones. I honestly resisted smoking it during that trip, because it made want to lie down (I love to function under indica influence though) or avoid that strong of a gasoline taste. That shit definitely earned my respect and was the strongest strain I smoked I knew knew the name of.
On a side note, the strongest herb I ever smoked was while I was stationed in Ft. Campbell, KY. Without detailing another long story, a local guy introduced me to this guy...i bought some A+ grade in 2000 from him, got in my car, rolled up with one of my Army bro, and quantum leaped into the womb of a woman who gave birth to me and lived until I was 32 in like 2 minutes...never underestimate a powerful Sativa grown exceptionally and to it's full potential!
