Okay, so I know it isn't that best picture... It's a pretty shitty pic, actually, but can anyone help me identify this little bastard?

...looks like the dreaded fuzzy orange spot bug to me but i'd need a clearer picture to be sure.

Got the little fkr! It jumps! Like pretty damn far too. I almost got the perfect pic and then all of a sudden it jumps!

No shit? It seems every 'pest' I have is beneficial, but I keep trying to kill them. What a waste of time and emotion. Lol, thanks guys!

I have 1 more bug, it is very small and kinda long. Green/yellow looking, I believe it is a thrip. Very, very small. You think the spider will eat it?

I know, lol. I will try to snap a pic tonight, but they are so tiny. I usually find them hanging around my res area.

If it jumps, then I'd be calling it a jumping spider like Coir says. It looks like a baby jumping spider species to me. They are beneficial (and very curious and very intelligent, as spiders go).

I LOVE jumping spiders, can you tell? Here's a pic of the biggest damn jumping spider I have ever laid my eyes upon. I called him Jumpy. You can totally see him eyeballin' me in this one photo. Animal was at least a half an inch long.

Jumping spiders hunt rather than make webs to catch prey. They will eat most any other insect they come across including ones that are quite a bit larger than they are. They are very curios creatures and will want to jump on you to check and see just what you are. They make great photographic subjects especially if you have a really good macro lens.
Not sure I know what you mean by "blooming" on.

Man, why don't they sell these? I should try and breed them or something. I didn't want to say it earlier because I thought you guys would laugh at me, but I felt like they were tiny monkeys, pestering and screwing with me. Like when I would go to take a picture, they would jump at the last minute or run. Until one stopped to stare at me and check me out, it just kinda chilled there and posed for me.... then I squashed it... I feel bad for killing them now.

They are green inside, that's why I thought they were eating my plants.

My plants look healthy, btw. No signs of pest damage. Maybe these little guys are what got rid off all the gnats for me. This is pretty bad ass.

Now that I like them, I can't seem to find any.

I think you had a batch of babies and they've probably dispersed by now. Just keep your eyes peeled in the small places, you'll find them again. I'm sure of it!

They come back at the start of every season in my greenhouse. They are very curious creatures and seem to want to know what I am doing in there. Every time I see one, they will come right over and lots of times jump onto my hands or the plant I am working with. I also get lots of other spiders in there throughout the year and I don't mind since the eat insects. The only ones I don't like are the hobo spiders as they bite and can be dangerous. We lost a dog to one about 12 years ago.
