have you tried essentria supposed to work on broad mites and safe around pets. I wonder if it works on russet mites , it smells like black liquorice and peppermint.
sounds great!
I mix it with safer BT for the caterpillars but essentria also kills army worms and bud worms. Another thing is that it's like $30 for a big bottle that will last for minute. It does have to actually get on the pest like insecticidal soap. I highly recommend it for it's safe and semi-organic qualities.
Yeah...lol..its bed bug killer...
Where do you find it for $30?
Amazon has it for 34 , same as Mr robotos link
but 32 oz makes 8 gal. and that about what it takes to saturate my garden once.

34 bucks each time I spray...this could get expensive:blackeye:

Sounds like u might be getting the upper hand @caregiverken and @SunGrown ... which is Fantastic along with the whole farm learning about these horrible critters....kill those suckers so they stop reproducing ..
Bravo

Yeah, sorry it is about $34 or so.. I bought it off ebay for $27 and tax a little while ago. I use it at 1/2 oz to an ounce a gallon, the instructions say you can go two or four ounce per gallon but an <ounce/gal is strong enough to kill most pests, it kills the mites thrips whiteflies and azalea lacewings I get and has slowed down the cats, esp with BT . For bedbugs you'd probably need more those fuckers are hard to get to. It's good but there are better out there but I have dogs and they like to eat my stuff, I can't always stop them so I gotta make sure it's not too poisonous whatever I'm using.
Those plants are bouncing back fast, you got a quick reflex dude, you hit those little mite fucks hard. W/e the case with the pest control, we just always gotta be on those bastards no matter what you use.

@OctoberDee ..Ahh Ok that makes sense!
now that im reading the lable..it says for ornamentals and turf
I see what its made from...thats some of what AliGee sprays..
I used to have peppermint and rosemary oils on hand..
I used em up, as fly spray on my porch where i smoke:facepalm:
I love the smell of all those essential oils
I better get more!

Thank you very much Medusa! I think/hope I have found the miracle for this...kinda like a few years ago when the caterpillars really started being a pain in the ass, I wanna say 2008...anyway, until I discovered spinosad I was going crazy!

Nice find!

One of the best features of Essentria IC3 is that it has no aquatic toxicity. This means you can apply near or over water for spiders, mosquitoes and other water dwelling pests with no worries about harming aquatic life
I know you like that Sea :)

But
Not labeled for use on edible plants. ?

my outdoor cats dont seem to eat leaves like the indoor ones did.
but I was thinking of them....because they lay on the soil :(
They Dont hang around while that sprayer is running thats for sure..they dont like the hissing sound!
I cover the pond when I spray just in case. its a few hundred feet away and its calm when im spraying in the mornings
I have had some large bites taken out of some plants this year....Deer maybe.

I am SOOOO thankful to have found this thread! I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was going on in my garden this year. I am an experienced grower from the 70's, but was totally stumped. My "fixes" have run the gamut from pH issues, nute lockout, tea recipe, etc. Sprayed Azamax as preventative for mites so didn't see spider mites. My trusty loop revealed NOTHING. I found this thread then went back out with an 80-100x pocket microscope. BINGO! Russet AND Broad mites. Ordering some Nuke Em and Biowar NOW. Thank you! THANK YOU! Makes me sick to have them but so glad to pinpoint the trouble. Wishing us all the best of luck in getting rid of these effers.
