anyone listen to the adam dunn show today? was about OG and the supposedly people that found the seeds in an ounce of weed from miami. show took a turn when someone in the chat room was asked to call in. was interesting. I hope they sort out the issues of putting the shows online to rewatch.

Basically we don't know exactly where OG came from because the breeders didn't want anyone to know to prevent the govt from having the parents! And this David guy needs to recreate the ORIGINAL GENETICS to clear up the muddied waters .....interesting

If you read enough and listen MORE anyone can form their own opinion. I can see a unique Thai/haze and some skunk combo in the mix. Smoke some triangle and then form an opinion though. This all came at a time when things weren't documented so well and furthermore not everyone gives a shit about the net. Anyways .. Just giving an opinion

I agree with the Thai haze and the skunk I don't think I've ever experienced the real road kill skunk....opinions are interest ing I wonder if the veteran breeders believe the plant can still get better prettier faster stronger louder and longer lasting effects or have they agreed on a holy grails for each category atleast

plants are only as good as their grower.. genetics, nutes and enviroment play a very important roll... some people have no growing skills trial and error is how i learned and im still learning... im an Og head so i focus on what my Ogs like which the recipe i use is rather high on ppms and some people disagree but to each their own.... knowing how to read your plants is very important its a full time job and some people become lazy and neglect the own feeding regime and blame it on others factors... i personally dont care where or how OGk was created all i care is that its dank as fuk and helps me with my condition... it saddens me that these so called breeders are jus pollen chucking and not giving credit to the true breeders for the real work that was done releasing beans without testing them, them selves... Rarely do i see someone starting with a landrace strain and creating something special all u see is that they are using other peoples work and banking on it... i used to spend a shit load of money on beans when i was a newbee and realized that i could do the same thing studying and reading my phenos looking for certain characteristics... jus my opinion take like a grain of salt...

I've smoked what I believe is Rks is Midwest. It's best smell, taste and up there with high. Definitely get nuances from ogs and sours of skunky goodness but NOTHING like the shit I grew up on 15 years ago in naptown.

So cool to see notes of things years later. Even my pops who's from Florida remembers og type nuggets and " the pine" which predates og so some validity is there. Anyway day 27 and some mystery og in 2 beds of ours... She shows signs of light bleaching which rest of room is fine.. So lights were raised and color came back. Funny how finicky this strain is reminds me of a hot girl I dated. Great lay great conversation just a bitch to keep happy. Peace all

Like you said, the pollen chuckers are really fucking up the og. They are running with he hype, cashing in on the name. 90% of og crosses and hybrids do not give a real representation of what real og is. Watered down genetics missing taste, smell, and potency of one of the best og's out there. It's refreshing to see most here running her in the purest form.

i went to a few dispensaires in the past weeks and i was Very disappointed in what they call OG.... the og smell is faint and the fuckers are stiffing the trichs of the buds.. My pop was telling me he used to pay $300 for a Lid of some good buds back in the late 70's early 80's i keep telling him to smell the og nuggs i got and he remembers that pine smell.. hermi plants are fucking up gardens and people are growing out those seeds with those traits now in their genetics watering down strains...

Thanks .. Depends I try and do it once early in, week 2 is good, and depending on the growth rate maybe a second time week 3 or 4.. I have gone up to week 5 a few times, but try and keep the cleaning to the early days..
