I just recently, a few months ago, discovered the OG Biowar products--
and ACT.

A very wonderful thing I've noticed is the proliferation of the predatory mite population around the ACT station(s). They must be feeding on the ah, whatdoyacallit; blow over, mist, splash--
or feeding on something that's feeding on the splash.

I first started brewing tea on the back porch, lotsa predatory mites appeared. Later I moved farther out and increased to 3 buckets; predatory mites everywhere, running around like little red energizer bunnies lookin' for things to eat.

People pay a lot of money every year for predatory mites. This is great.

I'm gonna keep moving the ACT station around the perimeter of the garden--
and then into the garden...

I recently took over a friend's RWDC operation -- I have years of experience cultivating but little to no experience with DWC. After months battling root rot (which plagued him previously) and trying everything under the sun, I decided a last ditch effort before I ditched the DWC and went back to Ebb N' Grow.

Long story short, Cap's products have completely turned around the op; No more rot, and plants as healthy (and some healthier) than any I've grown before. Now I have another problem, but a welcome one: roots beginning to clog the 3-inch PVC return pipes on the homemade systems. :cigar:

Thanks for bringing the knowledge and the products that made the difference. Cheers.

Really can't deny it. Been playing for a couple weeks and have noticed a very big difference in overall vigor and quality. So much so it makes me excited to continue indulging in beneficials.

We all know that feeling, find something that absolutely helps and you can see the results.. Mmmm, yes!

I can't afford to buy Cap's Bennies,
but then again, I can't afford not to buy Cap's Bennies;
'cause I know what they do.

I'm a bit slow these days,
and it took me a while to figure out how to apply the Farmer coupon:
more than one third off!!! > buy 2 get one free!!!

Wow, it's a heck of a lot more affordable now--
thanx Cap...

The bennies work. I'm not a big product guy at all, but I've had great success brewing teas with them. I run undercurrents and the tea with bennies has brought plants back from imminent death and prevents many problems. Works great for soil plants too.

I have question about the OGBiowar. What strain of BT is in it?

This is why Im asking. When the weather was hot, I was getting fungus gnats in my room. I bought Moquito Dunks from Walmart (BT)and ground them up soaked them in water for 24hrs and drenched my plants. The gnats thrived in it and it did not effect them.

Then I bought the OGbiowar and brewed up a tea. I overdosed my plants with it and drenched the soil. The same thing happened, the gnats just played in it and I found larvae in my medium. I did this for months with no improvement.

Then I bought Gnatrol off ebay, which is the same thing, BT. It murdered every single larve in my medium.

Why dont the Walmart Mosquito dunks or the Ogbiowar do anything for fungus gnats but the Gnatrol does? Are you using the wrong strain of BT or is it the concentration?

I found the same thing happens with Spinosad, I believe the concentration made the difference because Montery and Captain Jack's didnt work for me either.
