Yeah my Cuban black haze shatter was cool, it wasn't very psychoactive really.. It was more or less just very focusing and energetic.. I would definitely compare to a much more mellow on the body version of coffee. No jitters or comedown tho

Can't wait to grow this real NYC haze I came across. Supposed to smell like cedar and frankenscinse with a bit of astringent in there. I guess it's the "velvet" church

It's a hybrid of black haze but from what I understand it's spot on the the original. Very musky with heavy leather notes.. Big ol buds. Very motivating and euphoric cannabis.. Good for provoking intelligent conversation and so on.

@HEMPxxx thank you for sharing all of that information. I can only wish that your future is bright, I also agree with you totally on sharing your genetics a practice that ive done for a couple years now. It definitely helps insure that they are safe, and are easily re-obtained if need be. I really thank you for sharing, keep on keeping on, bro.

I would also love to hear your theory if there's any "roadkill skunk" RKS alive, there's a big thread on here saying that it's extinct although maybe it still exists hopefully? We're searching for the exact pheno that literally smells like you just drove by the highway in your nose starts twitching uncontrollably. :p

Ya, only encountered that real skunk herb once when I was younger. The overwhelming skunk spray smell is burned in my memory.

@HEMPxxx Wanna thank you as well for your posts here, we're all your students man. This is definitely off topic but just wanted to add my two cents because it was brought up. This whole Robert Clarke one man mission to change the classification of cannabis is pretty arrogant and nonsensical in my opinion. While it may possibly not be technically correct, when the legend becomes fact, print the legend.

The sativa and indica classification is extremely easy for anyone to understand. We all know what a couch lock indica with wide leaves does and we all know what an 80+ day super thin leafed sativa can do. Why add straight up confusion to the matter? This isn't like the calyx/bracht thing where it was just a simple misidentification. The whole Clarke landrace/drug variety/hemp thing makes very little sense to my simple brain, and I guarantee you the public at large has no idea what any of this means. And why does it matter? We already have a perfect classification system, science just needs to print the legend.

Thank you @HEMPxxx, I appreciate you taking the time. I am of the opinion that the new canna-markets will reward effects and experiences with camnabis, provided the hype-machines allow for it, lol.

@hemp xxx...key to your secondary point is the market. is a large enough segment of the market willing to cover the higher expenses associated with growing 10-16 week varieties? what would 1/8 donations in a medical setting or 1/8 prices in a recreational/full retail need to be to cover the extra 25% to 50% of time that the flowering cycle would take on these varieties? there was a period of time in LA when 1/8oz og donations were in the 75 and 80 dollar range which was partially due to the fact that the growing techniques of that era only provided for a 1lb per light average. now in the era of the 25-50 dollar 1/8, will the market go back to paying higher than current cap for a more fine tuned product? just wanted to hear some opinions on this

^^^ very few will , only the educated on the benefits of a uplifting sativa in the morning time. Personally I would pay more myself for say a real Nevil haze but I really couldn't say any of my customers would. So in short I feel that the only people that are willing to pay a little more for a sativa would be people evolved in growing imho

With that said there is plenty of profit margin in this field to grow some sativa varieties but sadly the small harvest and long flower times are a turn off to most especially when running beds

Do you commonly see any long flowering sats in collectives/disp ?

In the states we haven't gotten there yet, at least the average consumer has not been educated to the benefits of the sativa yet, but I have noticed in Amsterdam they had a higher price for longer flowering sativas. I want to run some this year in pots that I will start flowering on 420 outside and keep them going as long as they need even as long as 20-24 weeks...... I want that psychedelic buzz just need to find the right strains to run.

Some states like mine are just plain ignorant to any strain. It's really crazy the degree of separation that certain states have. My number 1 customer request is "is it good" I can honestly say that I can count on 1 hand the customers/patients what have you , that ask for the effects of certain strains , let alone the duration of the high ....it's could smell great but only medicate you for a hr and I would never get a complaint but reverse that ( avg smell long medication period and not a soul will want it. (Kinda the reason sour d is so popular in New York )

The states need many more @HEMPxxx s ( nj weedman ) in order to truly free cannabis as Cali , colo , wash , Oregon are a small part of the USA

I'm longing for the day when I can talk weed with my neighbor or anyone who's not on a cannabis forum and have a intelligent conversation

I think its just a matter of 90% of people don't care and never will. 90% of people are drinking budweiser, smoking marlboros. With legalization coming the 10% niche market will open up and we'll start seeing super dank quality and long flowering times for premium prices. And I will gladly be there with cash in hand to pay 3-4x normal cost for a proper 100+ day sativa. I'm sure most of us snobs would, legalization is the only hurdle really.

I need a big harvest to tide me over so I can grow a proper 100 day sativa.
