More licences for everyone else then. No one likes taxes and regulation, but you have to conform with it to a certain extent. If you want to give it a way for free have fun. This is a full time job for me and I'm not looking to find work doing something else to pay the bills when i can continue doing what I'm doing and get paid for it. Licenses/permits will be a small cost. Anyone who doesn't get them will eventually not be able to make any thing when the black market disappears, and it will. Theres already way more cash to be made owning a dispensary then black marketing everything. If you want to rebel, good luck. Your only hurting your self

Conformity is NOT an option!!!! Boutique growers like us will always have a market and better meds to boot. Conformists are weak!!! I say the "Establishment" be damned!!!!

Unfortunately not everyone, well hardly anyone will be able to participate in this "legal" action. It's not like you walk in to the court and pay then you get to grow. They put u through the ringer! Not to mention u must have legal money to start your dispo or an investor your screwed.
Well you guys should see the prices around in Northern Cali in grow areas in the end of fall when outdoor hits! Everyone has units and know one has cash! I`ve seen top shelf hit a low of $500 . People panic when bills are do and drop a small amount of their crop at rock bottom prices at first just to pay the rent or car payment only to jack prices up shortly after trying to recoup some of the losses. By this time of year only thing left is a few barely mid grade units and they are hard to find and expensive. With all the counties and cities enforcing land use code limits I bet prices will really be going up this year however!
wow that's not far off the 1200 units going in co. right now but the weed is more like mexi then kind haha.

Well I understand the black market is doing just fine in CO. I hear a lot of complaints about legal quality in CO and bad prices as well. I have no idea what brick weed is going for in Cali but I`m sure it`s cheep. I don`t think you can walk into a dispensary and even find any brick weed! At least most the stuff I`ve seen in dispensaries is of good quality here in Cali! Some of it is very good in fact.

When its federally legal the black market will disappear. There is no one selling small batch alcohol on the black market, not in any large amounts anyway. If you know what your doing you can grow great shit on a large scale. Those of us who already have warehouse grows will be more likely to get into the legal end because we are already up and running and we know what were doing.

Well you may be good at it but I have well over 22,000 strains and 50+ years of growing experience. And I`m betting that the small grower will survive with specialty strains and better quality control than the big boys . Corporations have a history of short sidedness and only looking at the up coming bottom line. yes they will have a nitch in the trade, but I think the small grower can also, depending on the way the laws are written and applied. That`s why the laws in Cali will play the biggest part when it comes to changes in the national laws. What Cali does the nation soon follows.

I'll stick with the 4-5 strains that are in demand right now. 22k is just ridiculous. You wouldn't even be able to grow that many in your lifetime unless you were in a warehouse and every plant was a different strain. I'd say from personal experience 75% of people who buy at dispensaries want the 4-5 strains that are in demand. Og, sour, cookies, gg4, are the big 4 (technically more with the phenos) then gdp and blue dream. Those few make up at least 75% of all sales in the flower department. Theirs a big difference between surviving and and prospering, I'm not trying to just survive

There is a black market for cigarettes.... And some of you guys think the black market is soon to disappear. Lol that's funny. Fuck the negative connotation of the black market, the black market is what made me, as well as the majority of people on here. Fuck your legal weed. #endrant

The only black market for cigarettes is on stolen ones. Just like anything stolen. People are not growing tobacco illegally without licenses and selling it behind closed doors. Not on any kind of large scale anyway. If you want to continue to be illegal good luck to ya. The black market will come to an end eventually and those of us prepared for that day will be a lot better off. The people who can transition to the legal side will be the ones who succeed in this business.

What people don`t realize is without the economic push the black market gives us the country would go into a deep depression. The Government knows this and instead of shutting it down, as it could, it tries to keep some control on it and the worst offenders. I reality they don`t budget enough to shut it down. The moneys spent are an industry in it`s self and filter down through the lower government employing courts, attorneys, police, correctional officers, and all of the people who live off of them. Black market sales does much the same on a grander scale.
