Your the captain of this ship :)....should show sex in 5-6weeks.......is it a girl?...if so.....I like a long veg. myself. It will depend on your head room and plant stretch...other tangibles. I think if ya go 8 weeks, should give ya a good look to see at the true expression of this strain.
U go girl

Started to show sex on all 3 plants already I have in there. 2 are known grown from seeds and 1 is unknown didn't know if it was male/female...

They all have white pistals sticking out of some of the bud growth areas! It's been about 5 weeks in 24h light, what am I expected to yield from these?

Thanks!

Hey Q
Hope your Garden is well,
Germinator said it best about taking your Girls to 7-8 weeks
I see you only will be using a 250W HPS ?
so the two or three ladies at 8 weeks should be good.
just watch your temp and your RH
the 1st few weeks of 12 on 12 off the girls will stretch and then you can see what you jave.
are you going to take a cutting?
if you keep a clone or two you will always have Bud.....
Its very difficult to estimate yield
get a grow or two under your belt and you will know where ya stand
Be patient Love, talk share with your girls and Most of all have fun .
We all started here so This is where I say READ READ READ
everything you ever wanted to know Is here.
YOU ARE DOING GREAT

Thankyou for your kind reply!

I don't know wether to keep a cutting or not, what is the actual benefits of taking a cutting? Btw I should mention I have only 120x120x140 tent so my height cannot breach 120 as the light is taking room at the top...

Though I have always read you can lst if it outgrows but isn't there a more manageable way?

Sometimes I wish I had someone who lived local to help out lmao

If you start tying your ladies now
I would say Not to just let um grow with a topping or fem once maybe twice
You need to grow one or two out 1st and get a good feeling for what your tent can handle.
The best answer I can give you for taking a cutting and keeping a few little ones is what if the one you are flowering turns out to be the best Medicine you have ever had?
The idea is to keep the same plant re-grow her over and over so you can get her Dialed into your tent size your style of growing and the risk of starting over from a seed is just that a long wait to see what ya get
Once you have one keeper plant then start a few more seeds and get another keeper so on so forth.....
You will get the hang of it
GO GROW......LoL
remember this is for the love of the grow IMHO so remember to have fun
peace

Wjat do you guys think? Please ignore the 2 pots to the right they're nothing. And the top left is pretty shy I mean I'm only keeping it in there otherwise I'd throw it. (Unknown seed).

250w what you guys recon?

Looking great so far.....ummm ....I would ditch the plants your not serious about its game time now. My thought here is they will be taking up valuable light energy and space, especially if your plan is sticking with the 250hps.
Grow on

What you mean by defoliation my friend? I have some pictures with light off here: germinator what do you recon the yield will be frm this plant in the picture? Was veg for around 5 week 1st week 600w rest 250... I found out the 600 was too hot, though the plants seemed to have enjoyed the heat... also curling tips on the plants indicates yet high temps right? And what do you suggest if space gets tight and buds start touching the sides?

Thankyou very much for your help!

Plant looks good...I see no sign of overheating..???
Defoliate...I mean removing the big water leafs that block out light to bud sites I do this thru out flower.
I have heard big bud can yield....soooo

I recon the yield for that single plant under a 250w to be ...................1.33oz.
If ya figure a way to use the 600 watter.....2.15oz....lol just guessin

Those are looking pretty good. I agree with @germinator about the defoli this is something I also do throughout flowering but I guarantee you will get tons of mixed opinions about it some say it helps bud production others say it harms bud production and evey one has supposed proof as to why one way or another so please don't come back on us If someone tells you it's bad practice I think it's just personal preference hope all the best for you and your grow hope u can get that 600w in there at some point

Thankyou both for your replies.

I understand now, and ill have to do some research into which leaves I can take away and stuff. Obviously not the ones which have buds on the end but you know lol.

Why 1.33oz? Was there some mathematics calculation due to my 250w light to get you to that sum?

What is the absolute max temperature my plants can be at in degrees Celsius?

Thank-you for your helping!!

Well if you can keep your temp at 78 degrees when lights are on perfect. I have seen people grow as high as 88 degrees farienhit, as far 1.33 idk , i know with a 600w hps you can hit 3.5 oz per plant. With A 250w you could yield 2oz on up depending on skill, environment, nutrients etc. I know every indoor grower tries to hit 1gram per watt, and its very possible.

Temperature in my opinion is debatable, but temperature swings are not, meaning if you have seedling sprout in 88 degrees and thats the same every day after then you will see little to no stress, lets say your seeds sprout at 82 degrees, then you veg at 78, and lets say your temps during bloom are 88 to 90 degrees, you will have a stressed plant and it will affect final outcome. Just my 2 cents

Watts, per gram, per square foot and the leaf is easy if it is at the bottom of a y pluck it if it is the size of your hand or close possibly even bigger get that suckered out of there it is blocking light and eating food the other parts of the plant could use for bud production I think you will be pleased with what happens over the next two weeks as in my experience everything you leave looks like it does now

Thankyou very much for your reply.
How do I control my temperatures inside the tent when I am only heating up the tent using my 250 hps?

What about plants that grow in the wild with 35 degree plus temps like Australia for example?

I need to show you guys the picture of my big bud. It was topped very early and has 4 colas now all the same height ect...

Thanks again!
