I dont think Bodhi would put out a atf strain as an atf strain if it wasnt a legit cut but its always nice to know that what you have from seed is atleast a similar pheno to the original.
any pics of your atf @crocodile og ?

Well said.

I do have some rather poor ones but I will try to put them up.

My homie scored some of those Kandahars and one of the males went auto. I tried pinching it back hoping it was just stressed, to no avail. Now I've got a foot tall solid cola of male flowers. I have nothing in flower so I'm trying to talk a neighbor into a collaboration. I hate autos but some stock that's half afghani landrace wouldn't be too bad I suppose. If only I had a Thai or Cambo ready to hit. Definitely no way to get this dude to reveg.

Stature wise imagine a more supple Bubba like plant. Broad with tight internodes but narrower leaves and slightly more vigorous. Branches and stems with more flexibility rather than brittleness. A bit more egg shape profile than the pyramid structure of bubba but something that could definitely be grown in the same room without much difficulty. In flower it is a little bit more stretchy. Perhaps 50% maximum stretch as compared to bubba's 25%. ATF finished in 63 days and could have probably been pulled a few days earlier if desired. The buds were of an elongated spear head form. Intermediate density with large round calyxes and average to good calyx to leaf ratio. During growth the aromas were black forest cake sweet drying to a peppery, sweet with a licorice back note and just a hint of grassiness but in a good way. Not a chlorophyll smell but more of a lying on a lawn and staring at the sky kind of thing. High resin content and an excellent bag appeal also. You could almost imagine ATF being the polar opposite of OG. Squat, sweet and easy to grow with little support needed. Though cages or some other support should be planned for as after the buds gain weight in week 6-7 the branches do tend to sag. Samples to be be smoked this weekend. Hopefully the potency should be good to excellent. Unfortunately I am unable to access a lab for for accurate analysis (damn prohibition).

Regarding the males I have kept 3 of the more promising studs. 1 sweet and fruity earler showing individual, 1 with a sweet orange soft drink aroma and closer internodes and 1 very promising guy that absolutely reeks of citronella. He is probably tne most pungent male I have ever had my hands on.

Great description croc.its nice to get something good that isnt an og,chem or cookies.thats why i liked the synergy.
those atf males sound good.im glad your taking the line a step further and im sure the f2 gen will have a good variety of phenos to choose what you like.with a good few beans to go through it shouldnt be too hard to find an alaskan TF pheno.Bodhi is the only breeder iv seen with a confirmed cut of alaskan TF.sagarmatha alegedly had atf but they called it matanuska tundra.

I stuck my nose in the ATF...... Strait black liquorice smell. I don't like black liquorice, but this smell is very enticing. Should be some unique smoke. Wish I could describe the plant as well as croc did, great job.

I find alot of the time when smelling good weed it reminds of something that you dont like but as a dank weed taste its great.for example i recently got a sample of aliendawg and it tasted EXACTLY like the red/pink turkish delight.it was bloody awesome.i cant abide red/pink turkish delight though.

Decisions decisions. If anybody has experience with any of these strains your input is much appreciated. Other than Goji OG. I've really been wanting to pop the Blockhead BX since its the only one withour snow lotus nepali or appalachia in it besides whatever might be in the bubbashine x 'everything' cross. Opinions, input from your own grow(s) w/any of these, i'll take it all thank you

I have grown out the NL #5, Goji and Blockhead. The blockhead finished very nice for me. Large yields of quality buds. The Goji speaks for itself. The NL #5 I personally haven't had the best of luck with. The genetics are amazing, and jems are there. However, the 4 phenos I have flowered out have all smelled like hay. Usually this mean that the herb dried to fast, which is possible. However nothing else turns out like hay. The plant structure and thc coverage is fantastic with the nl #5, but I have yet to find a loud pheno. My bro always prefers the high of the NL #5 also.
