Once you are opened up like that, it's gonna be a problem for the rest of your life. I have those same cuts, and it's a problem for me just in day to day life. If I'm working on something and smack my head good, they open right up.
I have to agree, I saw Nick Diaz fight after his scare repair surgery and not much more than a jab and his fucking scare tissue opened rite up....
If it happened, during that time period in my life, that I got in a street fight with Vale, you know who would win? Me.
I would NOT fight Vale with out a minimum of 45 cal. , prefer a semi-auto pistol if he came at me. And a back up pistol also. I have watched his fights and he is dangerous , he is calm, calculated and doesnt gas for a big guy with adrenaline dumps.
So if we aren't going to imitate the results of a real street fight, and we have already decided to draw a line somewhere I.e. No eye gouging, groin strikes, than why not alter that line so that it gives the fighters at least somewhat of a future in the sport. They don't need to be breaking hands, wear some sort of light gloves. They don't need to have their career handicapped or ended because of the cuts from head butts. I would add foot stomps to the list.
For the sport to exist, it has to have fans and fighters. If the fighters aren't incentivized enough, or the industry regulated enough so that the fighters incentive can be decreased, the sport just won't have the economy to survive. I'll have to look up the financials of that fight.
I like hand to hand combat in all forms. I'm so disgusted with Olympic committee about cutting wrestling, bullshit=== I could spit. My point was that UFC MMA is NOT a fight, its an MMA match. NCAA wrestling tournament is more of fight that a UFC MMA... Dana White and his mobster , well all I can say is the UFC stands for U Fight Cheap! Our home boy Alvarado was sent to boxing and made millions... I like the Grand Prix format, I don't like it being violent to the point where people are getting severe injuries.

Friday nite punk rock fight nite ,,, under ground fighting and entertainment fun shit here in Denver back in the day when I thought I was a badd ass... punk rock band, warehouse,,, brawl your bro or any one in the audience after you got Drunk,,, crowd threw money in the ring the more you beat the shit out of each other. chick made big money rippen cloths. PT strip club girls served. BUT when I witnessed the PROs here in Denver it was like nothing I saw in my life... Men would literally piss themselves with fear. They'd put all the fighters in one room to warm and at random call there name out to the cage to fight.... Ken Shamrock was amped adrenaline, so pumped he had foam coming out his mouth,,, ya know how they high five MMA guys now,,, the audience cleared a path for these animals. they had a look of death, eyes so dilated, it was the most intense competition I have ever witness and I've seen 3 of these ..Ive been to Judo Worlds, NCAAs and UFC and World Boxing from the corner also. I saw 2 pro fights Here in the states and it is intense,,,,, people go out on strtchers often.... Rome bro,,, I got to witness Gladiators rite here in Denver also!
