This thread has become DANGEROUS. Let not post the names of products in the open Forum. All that is doing is creating more resistant mites. In the long run it is hurting not helping people. I know this because very few people will spend 250 and only use a few ounces and put it away for a year.

most products are only dangerous if used incorrectly
the same can be said for a lot of things

Listen to NCGA on this you guys. If he says we are being dangerous, then you guys better listen. It's always good practice to listen and learn as much as you can from a poised professional.

I didn't take any of this spraying lightly, I used PPE's that were far and above what was stated on the bottles. I respected the reentry times, and I tried to spray everything before flower set. I wouldn't recommend, and it sounds like NCGA wouldn't recommend anybody using products like Avid without fully reading and understanding everything the product offers. You need to wear PPE's, respect reentry times, know how long products last in flowers so your not selling tainted buds, and IMO most of all is people should know the recommended amount of sprays per year each product allows. That is why we have broad mites on steroids, because every gardener out there has no idea how to regulate different class miticides. I am just learning, and I have read at least 10 college papers on the matter now, and still need to learn a grip more over winter.

I thank everybody for the help, and I could not of done it without your help everybody. However, lets do as NCGA says, and lets cut the Avid talk. Some 18 year old, freshly made grower will read a thread like this and poison himself and others. Thanks again for all the help everybody.

I'm going to put bells on what @ncga and @Bulldog11 are saying. Of all the growers I've met over the years, NC is the ONLY one who's bothered to really educate himself. He's the only one with a pesticide license, the only one who's gone to the trouble and expense to learn far beyond the bro-science or asking online what to do with one product or another.

Agreed, improper use of pesticides is a huge problem in the cannabis industry. Pesticides do have their place, but should only be used as a last resort and only as sparingly as possible. Understanding how to manage pesticide resistance and using proper protective equipment is extremely important and often over looked. Like NC said, use a little bit, then put it up for a year or more. If your doing it right that little bottle of Avid should last you for YEARS :)

@500lbs Guerilla What application rate did you apply the Regalia at?

Sprayed regalia like a mofo last year when the rains came late season. Not a single burn and and not a hint of botrytis (except where a caterpillar snuck in)

ordered from Johnny's Seeds

Or anybody that knows the answer.

The rate on the bottle was 2-4 quarts per 100 gallons, which I think comes out to about 20-40mL per gallon. I used 2 tablespoons per gallon with no ill effects

Thanks you guys.

I am starting to get a little run down. I have been spraying almost 3 of 7 days out of the week. Starting at 6am, and if I don't finish, I have to start again at sun down. I am doing some concrete and paver work for a neighbor that is really chapping my hide as well. That and I am finishing off my dry room, finally getting some primer on the walls. I am also preparing my house for solar panels, so I have to bulldoze a bunch, and frame up some piers for the stands. This season has been rough, growing is suppose to be more fun than this, stupid broad mites. I also applied for some jobs, and didn't get any I applied for,.

The good news? The broad mites are still being kept at bay, for the moment.

I will try to get some pics up, the plants are starting to get interesting.

Do you have a good tank sprayer? I seem to recall you've already got a quadrunner. The tank sprayer has really helped me in that regard.

The end is gonna be here before you know it!

I just switched to my 20 gallon tank sprayer. MUCH EASIER!!!

I had to use the atomizer for best results, but now it's past that point.

I am always bummed out when the season ends. It always feels like a huge chunk of my life is missing. I am going to be one of those 85 year old guys always running around doing projects. However, this year I feel like I am a kid in my last class before summer vacation, counting the seconds, just waiting for the bell to ring.

I popped the seeds for the greenhouse on holy week in early April this year. They got put out in the greenhouse as soon as they reached clone size, maybe a month later. Thanks for the heads up on the Big Time Exterminator. For now, I will be using just Og Bio War, bt and spinosad.

VERY close by, and thank you for asking. I've been keeping in touch with Brother Loran, he's a lot closer to the evacuated areas and may be in the path, depending on any winds, shifting etc. Now that it's morning they can at least start doing air drops again. Power's out over a huge swathe since Electra Rd was overrun and I'd wager there's a huge number of people with no more connectivity than a landline. And no one can get to their equipment, not the phone companies/ISPs and not PG&E.

I'm glad we've got the backup gennie, but the AC went out when the power went out and we're STILL waiting on a call back from a tech from Beutler. I'm starting to get kinda pissed that no one's called us back yet.

I am going to start another thread asking these same questions, but I was going through my seed stock getting ready to start popping more seeds for my seed run come winter. I would love to hear what other growers find interesting. I would love to sell these to the public, but first I would like to place in some cups first.

Bodhi - Alaskan Thunder Fuck, White Lotus, Sunshine day dream, Goji og, Ancient og, Silver Mountain, Supersticous, Tiger Milk, Snow Wookie, Blood Orange, NL #5, Pink Lotus.

Swamp Boys - Helen Back

Crocket Farms - Sour Banana Sherbert, Tangie, Sour Tangie

Rez dog - Double Strawberry v2, Sour Queen, Train wreck kusk, Chemdog IBL, c99 x g13 bx

Dutch Grown - Sweetest 99, oger99, cindy 99 f2s, Witches Weed, Mystic Gem, Thai Dragon, Glass Slipper, Dieselrella, Select mix, Magenta 99

Ganja Rebel - Double strawberry diesel (og x cd), double strawberry diesel strawberry pheno, og x sd x durban, ECSD(og x cd), Double strawberry diesel, 5g's red f2's

Og Raskel - White fire

Mosca - Blue Moon

TGA - Apollo 13 bx, plushberry

Reservia Privada - OG Kush

Fractal Genetics - Strawberry diesel 99, SSH f2's

Grindhouse - Powerhouse

Wallyduck - c-99

Bog - Grape punch

Jordan of the niles - Blue God bud

Karma Genetics - Happy Chem

Sensi seeds - Jack Herrer

I pretty much have access to any clone. GG#4, sour bubble, GSC, sunrise sherbet, The white, Ken's GDP, ext.

I already have three killer males. BM x NL #5 sativa pheno, yeti, ancient og. All three are huge, heavy yielding males. The other male I want to lock down is an ATF male, and I have 28 beans to search through. Anybody know where I can find more ( @bodhi seeds ) ATF from Bodhi? I would love to run through several hundred, I just love the ATF.

All the seed packs mentioned above I have about three packs on average of each strain. So at least 30 or so beans to search through. Most of the Rez, Crocket, bodhi beans I have 4+ packs of each. Unless I have dipped into some of them.

Your family is in my family's prayers. Glad your safe for now, but I imagine the smoke is terrible if carrying your way. I have been following the fire on mymotherload.com and the power outages seem really far spread. Thousands of homes without power, and not many people live in that area. I don't know Loran, but please send my positive vibes his way. Sounds like he can use it. Stay safe.

On a side not, seed vault just starting carrying Mota Rebel gear. Is that Loran, or is Loran part of that crew? Looks like they have good gear, you recommend them right?
