I don't know the exact age. I had these growing out side from the beginning but the nights were getting shorter and cooler. That's when I decided to purchase a tent plus the Mars Hydro Light. So there was another week of waiting. Got them under the light two weeks ago. So I think they were in shock for a little while but came back like gangbusters. Because of the different leaf size and not knowing what plant the seeds came from, I am thinking two different plants. So there is a possibility of flowering at different times. Should be getting the new Mars Hydro light here in a couple of days.
Seen your new website today. I didn't know about the Mars Pro. I might should have waited on the Mars Hydro Reflector. The Pros look like they would be perfect.

no that is not right at all you must have confused me with someone else. i bought two panels, one directly from mars , one from buildasoil. i spoke to you through email regarding warranty and if its valid if purchased through buildasoil but you likely dont remember. that was on june 25 and i spoke to sara hu, which i assume is you, i still have that email. so i bought the tent and light combo from mars hydro and a single 400w from jeremy

did not start running lights until july 30, 2015. i noticed right away and reported i was getting lots of heat. i did a complete grow journal at a private site i belong too and first reported on august 4th there was noticable amounts of heat. there are a few members here that are members there and can confirm what im saying and i can also screenshot it if my character or reliability seems questionable to you.

At the begining I would like to reship a brand new light for you, but you told me this issue after you used for 7 months right? If I remember right, you have used 7 months already... It's out of "reship a new unit" time already, during that time you bought the light, actually you had 30 days to verify it truely has problem of the quality, and we could reship to you within 30 days. But after 7 months, we only could ship new replacement for you. And I have said we need to check the light first then can be sure it's something wrong with our light, but you seem not really want to send to PA, which I also can understand, this long talk makes you exhausting... So I was talking with manager hope can resolve for you fast, that's why without checking I will even send new fans for you... Hope you can understand :)

He's being honest all the way.uts a joke your saying its just over the new for new date,but you've been stalling him for ages.try this try that.then wait till after harvest to check heat difference....nice techniques.coming in with ya old coffee house tricks.eastcoast Joe has been nothing but honourable,now its your turn.keep ya fans .send him 2 new panels.upgrade would be nice.if you want to redeem your selves..good luck Joe..

Maybe you can ask eastcoastjoe how we resolved this:) I didn't send the new replacement before because Joe didn't send the light to PA. We are a company, some check process is necessary, or this company will be in such a mess. But no matter what, I have contacted our repair shop in PA already, will send the new fans for him tomorrow, without checking is just an exception, because I totally understand how frustrated eastcoastjoe can feel during these days, and I trust eastcoastjoe. So, this issue is resolved.

Mars Hydro is a responsible company, we are dealing with thousands orders everyday, every staff here is also responsible for any complain. Please don't start to judge us in a bad way because of one accident. :)

As a company, we protect customers' rights, but we also have our principles. There are more explaination you may find in the comment I replied to Keiksweat. :)

I think it's more important how eastcoastjoe feels about the solution, and I think eastcoastjoe can understand I'm also trying to help him. 4 new fans will be sent tmr. :)

well i did complain right away about the heat but it took me almost a month from the time of purchase to get everything setup. i plugged them in when i first recieved them to make sure they worked, not sure what else i should have done to asses if they were faulty ? when i did mention the heat you made it seem like i was a rookie grower and didnt have my tent ventilated properly which was not the case.

i didnt realize there was a problem until i saw other people post there setups and talk about how cool there panels ran, similar setups to mine. if you were willing to send new panels i would have sent them right to PA but i dont think thats what you wanted to do because you never once mentioned it ? you said i could send them there to be looked at. you never mentioned sending new panels, i still have a copy of every message you ever sent me.

and your statement about other companies is wrong. htg supply, lighthouse hydro and quite a few others would accept the panel back and replace it after 30 days. only thing different is they wouldnt issue a refund, instead a replacement. i had a blackstar panel from lighthouse hydro have issues with the fan rattling after 6 months. they sent me a replacement and didnt blink a eye because, THE PANEL WAS DEFECTIVE AND HAD A 1 YEAR WARRANTY. they didnt send me through hoops making me ship things to repair shops. that should be your end of the buisness not mine. if every panel was the same quality this issue wouldnt exist. and instead of just sucking it up and replacing them, your gonna pass the buck to me, the consumer. like somehow something i did was wrong and now i have to suffer just for supporting your buisness and buying your product. how come when you first posted in this thread you didnt ask me has it been 30 days from purchase ? no instead you wasted two weeks talking about add another fan and then just tried to give me a discount on buying a new panel

so in regards to the fans, if i have to ship my panels somewhere for repair and also cover the shipping, its kind of defeating the purpose and you can just keep the fans @MarsG . what light will i use in the mean time ? and why should i have to pay anything to get this issue resolved if there is a warranty in place ? so to answer your question about how i feel, i guess im not very happy about the solution.

yes it comes with free shipping. what im referring too is having to send the panel out for repair. there not speaking of that so i think its a safe bet i will be expected to pay shipping to the repair shop which wont be cheap.
 
Real sytles let me get this straight 10 year warranty now average person is not A electrician does this mean when just by chance you fry that cob from your mistake , there going to warranty it ?? I think not actually also curious did you buy them cobs are walmart or down and closest hardware store ??? Again i think not
so there fore you need to send them out ??? at your cost .. when it gets there there service dept will go through it no different when i chipped my ZR1 vette and had full warranty and i had engine issues Guess what they did not honor my warranty same thing applies or your 10 year warranty cob if after examination you fucked up by either grounding it or some surge the answer is NO you do not or will not get another COB as a free be :) such as life if the cob in some way started coming apart or internal damage caused by manufacturers then no problem your going to get a new one

so with that said and from your previous post in other threads waiting for a new unit its no different then waiting for a new cob in most cases i would think instead of a company fixing the unit as in mars they just send you out a new one ?? maybe then refurbish yours and send it out whole sale to all the many allibaba online sales lol

Your right realstyles you get what you pay for remember one thing there son China , Japan are leading countries when it comes to electronics remember seymor duncan super computor ??? he had to order his chips guess where ??? Japan surely not the goo ole MERICA
 
First off there is no problems with my panels that I can control the wattage and secondly they are being ran super efficient. As per Supra said about 60% right now because I have them turned down and at full blast it's 56% efficient. My last run I hit 2.91 pound off os 1302 watts and this run will be more although my thin mint took a hit from several days of 90-100F weather and no AC. You are a HPS fan boy who lives in Canada who has cooler weather than I do. I'm in the San Fernando Valley it's damn near like the desert during the summer. I also want to warn you about the Mars Pro series for the price of that 256 model you should take the time and DIY you'll be much happier.

Here are my 2 veg and clone tents only running 186watts in 2x4 tents

See there is a problem there you say you did 2.91 pounds from 1300 pluss of so called wattage but lets not forget you got them turned down i thin your kinda eatting your own words as in effcient i mean i was pulling them numbers with magnetic ballast and HPS bulb if we look into it really many DE growers are hitting 3 + per 1000 DE so again efficiency means nothing in real world terms ??
I know i know next thing is Quality haha that is used in defense in reality is becoming kinda moot really grow the best you can with what you can and be happy plain and simple your talking about frost in your thread like its the first time you ever saw it cmon man relax there both grow and be done with it
Bottom line diy or purchased appear to work
and as for fans being used well we all know that air movement is important as well as temps ..
I am sure you will find that in the noob section as a sticky
 
Here's a pic of my first light at full power newt to a 1600w and 900w Mars 2 panels. I didn't do the whole run with that light I just replaced the other 1600w with it near the end
