the way your acting is like im trying to rip you off and get something for free from you. if you know your product so well how come it wasnt a red flag right away when i said my temp were 90 degrees ? you should have known right away something was wrong. i gave you the specs of my vent fans as well. i had plenty of air exchange

and you know what stop saying my space was too small. you sell a tent that is 2 ft3 inches x 2ft 3 inches and suggest a mars2 400w. i have a 2 x 4 tent with 2 mars2 400w panels. the foot print is almost identical for what you suggest. i might be 1 sq ft smaller or less, that shouldnt cause extreme heat buldup so give me a break.

Hi fellas Mars should know who I am. I'm not here to fight but your new return policy is a joke. I smash my 900w because of the poor customer service and being lied to. I'm with Toaster it's all about diy

I have 11 panels 8 cobs on each made so far and I have still 5 more to make and when winter comes I'll turn them up from 186watts each to 423watts and each panels Cost me about $700+ and I can comfortably say they slay HPS all day

If you make them yourself you can fix it real easy. Cree has a 10 year warranty and Meanwell has a 7 year and they honor them very well. Although I won't be having with either but it's good to know if something goes wrong I won't be ignored.

I had 2 panels go out on me a 900 had 7 burnt and 1200 only 2 so I fixed the 1200 and smashed the 900 but I won't post the video on here just to be fair

I think he was trying to say some Chinese companies are out there just for the money. I've been dealing with Chinese tools for over 23 years and was selling them when I had my tool supply business and what he should have said is you get what you pay for.

OHHH HII Realistyles,

Nice to meet you here! :) Of course I know who you are, the guy who was trying to break our light few times but didn't break it successfully . Our quality is such a SHIT, isn't it? ;)

You always try to attack us in many different forums , you will be unhappy if you see anyone buy our light, you get so excited if anyone is complaining about us :) You are famous in many places now, even blocked by some forums. OHH, why?

We are still wondering what's your real intention actually ;)

i read this thread again today and it made me pretty sad and upset. it also made me think of something. you said you guys sell thousands of panels everyday, THOUSANDS. im no fool, you guys are doing just fine as a buisness being your the manufacturer and sales department, no middleman. you tell keiksweat not to judge over 1 accident. so if you say you guys have principles, what would it hurt for you guys to replace 2 panels, out of the thousands you sell everyday ? it would be a drop in the bucket and you know it. you admit its your accident but yet i have to be the one inconvenienced ? do you really think you will gain long term customers with your bad buisness practices ? you definitely lost a customer with me and anyone i know. keep your fans @MarsG and if you want you can have these panels back. you can fix them and sell them to someone else. you saying your company has principles is a joke
Sorry about the language barria, accident here is based on "if it's really something wrong with our light".

We can't just drop new panels for you because our company is a formal company. We will not compromise without being sure it's our problem. We r not trying to get rid of responsibily either, now you finished harvest, you might not need the light at this moment (That's why I said wait till you harvest, cuz I didnt want to bother your grow process, but in your mind I was just stalling you.) I have suggested you many times please send the light to PA, we will cover all the shipping fee, and cover the fee for repair or replace some new parts, but you don't want to, what else can I do?

I know you are a nice and honest person Eastcoastjoe, just can we please stop arguing about this, and really find a way to resolve this issue? Sincerely.

@MarsG if i was a seller and someone was complaing in my thread they had problems with my product, your damn right id ask them is everything ok. it would be the first thing i would ask. that would be the responsible thing to do, you know, the principle you claim you pride your company on.

when you set this thread up and saw i was having extreme heat problems, did you offer any warranty service. no you and a few others just assumed i didnt know how to vent my room properly. im not a rookie sweetheart, get it through your head. im experienced in building and growing and i believe you dont do either so that makes me the one with more experience. your blaming these problems on me and its likely the crappy fans you use in your panels.

you claimed 3 year warranty when i bought these 3 months ago, how is warranty time over ? and about our conversation, of course i said thank you and wasnt rude. but lets put it out there, if i dont accept the fans, is there any other option for me ? of course not so why be rude to you. i didnt agree to anything its the only option you offered so what can i do. you already have my money.

your the only company i ever dealt with that sends items out while the customer waits for repair. my local store, if i buy it there and it breaks, they replace it no question asked. what am i supposed to use in the meantime ?
The old warranty policy is not over for anyone who purchased before we changed policy. So for you, still 3 years warranty, but it doesn't mean we can ship to you new panels at any time, I think it should be very clear when you purchased our light, within 30 days we may reship new panel for you if it's QUALITY PROBLEM.

May I claim again about our old warranty policy here, which is still working for you.

The first year if anything wrong happened, shipping fee/ repair fee/ new replacement are all free for customers.

The second year, repair fee/ new replacement will be covered are all free, customer needs to pay for the shipping.

The third year, new replacements are all free, customers need to pay for the shipping fee and repair fee.

Hi eastcoastjoe,

Yes the size of tent is very matchable for one MarsII 400W, but In the pic you posted before, you were running two 400W, with 18 pots inside that 2x4x5 tent. That's really a tight space... We were suggesting you to check about ventilation system and maybe move out some plants, because many reasons may cause heat, even the enviornment temp can influence the grow temp, and the grow space was obviously too tight.

Anyway Eastcoastjoe, how about let's both stop , and just try to find a real solution can be helpful to you?

I don't see anything there stating I have 30 days to report a Quality problem in order to get a new panel. If I would have known that was the case I would have set the lights up right away . I didn't use them for at least a month after buying them because I was still buying supplies to get all setup. All I did was plug them in to make sure they worked. It seems like your making things up as you go I'm done @MarsG you win. You don't have to replace anything for me I'm gonna save my money and buy a new HPS light like I should have done in the first place.

No that's wrong. First , you were selling A mars2 400w panel and a 2'3" x 2'3" tent together as a bundle. That was your suggestion because I bought them as a package.
I then bought a tent double the size which is 2 x 4 and added another panel, you follow me ? So how is that too tight ?

And as for the tent, people run SOG all the time with no issues. If you read back I explain all this and I'm growing tired of talking. My tent was more ventilated then it needed to be it was like a wind tunnel.

If you don't want to replace these panels then just don't worry about it I'll take this experience as a loss and won't buy your products again. If you want them back you can have them

East coast thats the problem when you order online remember they didnt twist your arm to buy it you could of easily purchased a led at your grow shop..
Now i ask why didn't you i know all grow shops carry some led units and makes so ask your self why you didnt purchase one there ???Was it cause guess what it cost double ?? could that be i dunno
Bottom line
EXample : i order the mars 1600 watt unit ok but put it in my 2 x 2 box is the fans going to keep it cool number 1 killer of components is heat so after 2 weeks light shuts off from 24 hr non stop cycle ??? is it manuactures problem or is it yours
Should they warranty it ??? many factors could of caused it to go down yes manuacturers defect or user error

Eastcoastjoe... I don't want to be a winner here, this is not a competetion, what I have said was true, what you have said was also true. I apologize if I didn't ask more details about your purchase info and wasn't more initiative to resolve your issue at the begining. I will do it better from now on.

But becasue @Bloombastic was giving me very clear info about his light, that's why I resolved for him within 2 days.

So I think it's more like a mutual thing.

For now, I still wish you can accept the 4 new fans, you don't need to pay anything, just wait for it, replace it, and let's see if all will be better. This is what I can do for you at this moment, sincerely, I am not a bad person.

East i just read your other posts now it makes sense all good thats the problem lots purchasing something but not using it right away is killer on warranty specially 30 - 60 day money back items when first 60 days it was neer used my bad carry on

Also east one more thing 2.3 x 2.3 for the 400 = 5,29
then you went with 2 of them in 2x4 making it 8 sq feet
when in reality should of been 10.58 sq feet you were short 2.58 sq feet there fore heat was a issue unless you had some kick ass venting CFM to remove it quick
So again its many ways to look at it
what happen if i put 2000 watt hid together under 4x4 canopy bleaching and burnt plants no different
but send it in sure even marsafter inspection and trust me they probably will find heeat damage possibly ??? idunno just saying
but 2.58 sq feet short could be a huge difference

You obviously didn't read this whole thread, I already know that heat is the biggest killer of electrical componets, I said that already. What do you think my issue is ? These panels run hot as hell And there not supposed too. My exhaust and vent is more than adequate too check my specs out

Do the math. They sold a package with a small tent and a 400w panel. 5 sq ft and a 400 w panel is 80w per sq ft.

I'm using a 2x4 which is 8 sq ft. 800w so I'm at 100w per sq ft versus there suggested 80. Should that extra wattage make it 15 degrees hotter than what it should be , I doubt it. Especially since I had more than enough airflow and exhaust. If so, how come Jeremy silva at buildasoil runs the same footprint but doesn't have heat issues ? Because his panel is working properly that's why.
I'm not talking real watts here I'm talking what the panel is.

And the online thing is BS. I had a rattling fan in a black star after 6 months. Gotham replaced it , issued a RMA and shipped it out before they got mine back. HTG supply, same service. I should have shopped local sure it may have cost double up front but look at the back end, I'm gonna spend the same money buying a whole new setup Now because these are not worth the trouble. If I have to combat this much heat why sacrifice yield to save a few watts.

That's not the point. They didn't twist my arm true. But they sold something based on misinformation. I'm done now it's pointless anymore

Dam i should be in sales hahaha or customer support lol yes you get a new one no you dont beat it hahaha

Galaxyhydro cob is really good light
Apollo is next best for money imo

What other info could I have possibly gave you to make this have turned out different ? I don t see what more I could do to be more transparent. What did bloombastic do that I didn't ?

Those fans won't do me any good if I can't replace them. I don't have the time to send these panels out and wait for them to be repaired. I asked you a few times and you didn't answer , what am I supposed to do for a light if I send them out ? It's ok no worries like I said, I came out on the losing end this time, I guess I will have to figure out how to buy another light.

Galaxyhydro lights have a two year no hassle guarantee, driver ever burns out, they send you a new one and you install it, just a few screws

Yes it's a good policy for their users. :) We are doing the same, within 2 years, new replacement parts for free. No matter driver, lamps, charger or fans ect...

First of all i am by no means a led expert but rather a newb in this field but 400 watt mars in terms of wattage 180 - 190 watts would you not use actual draw in actual sq foot wattage draw ??? so would be like 35 - 36 watts per sq foot ????
either way your talking a 250 watt hid replacement sorta and 190 bucks which is cheap but again will yield you small time anyway

Heres a million dollar idea for you for free.
Liquid cooled COB led, the pump forced liquid runs right past the cob led acting like a magnifying lens and cooling the circuit at the same time...
No loud fans just liquid cooled heatsyncs
