Everybody loves me. ( I think )I make it a point to treat everyone really really well and make sure everyone is super comfortable and gets to eat really well.

I totally agree with you dismal dude.. This isn't some big corporation job where no one knows the CEO.. I interact directly with everyone and try to make sure I get whats going on with everyone so that they are happy.. I would love to have everyone back next year as well... Putting in the extra effort of feeding everyone all the time and keeping them happy goes a long way... Gray area I totally disagree with the statement you made.. People are here to make money to keep traveling and the main workers I definitely take care of very well.. People do like to be told there doing a good job,
Seriously though.A bit of appreciation goes a very long way.People will do better for you if they feel you care for them.
I know it sounds like brainwashing lameness but if you're real and take care of your people they will do more and better for you.True facts!

Obviously gray area has never had "employees" if u think u can work people 10 hours a day in any job and not give them compliments or treat them well with food or drinks you are way wrong. They might not call cops but they will start working together to rob you left and right because they feel they're doing all the work and you are doing nothing... u got it down.mendo I wouldn't change shit in how you operate. There will always be ppl that steal no matter how well they are treated. You just gotta let them go nicely

So three 8 hours shifts in one day??? That's 24 hours of straight work ?? Doesn't make since. Or did u mean three 8 hour shifts per week?? Because that just won't get the job done! All I know is my massive dry rooms were starting to spread the mold because we literally grew to much pot this year and had to pack it in so much. When I asked my team to go extra late and put in a 14 hour day pretty much everyone was down to help. At 9 pm I bumped it from 20 $ an hour to 25 and people worked until 2 in the morning to help me stop the mold from spreading. When I was younger I used to steal pot from my dad. Doesn't mean I'm a terrible person. My dad loves me and I got punished and then we were able to move on. "He had really good pot from the laytonville crew " So it does make a difference who it is that's stealing from you. I also asked him to help get rid of the littles for me. Honestly I would compare the whole situation to someone producing 1000 cases of wine and having one of the varietals come out poorly. You tell your main employee about how a small percentage of the wine isn't as good as the rest and then you find two cases of that crappy wine at his house. He's not out to get me or impact my success in any way. Stupid sometimes - yeah definetly .. But he's a good guy and still a major part of the team.

I have a WONDERFUL idea.... how about we let the guy running the show and paying the bills make the decision on what is and what ain't, and get this thread back on track to some righteous bud porn, sans the drama?

Gonna cut down the last two big plants of sour d. I'm also gonna harvest the rest of all the really small third cuts that were left. Then I'm gonna pull all of the stalks out and take down the cages. This summer we are doing a major remodel on the barn and turning it into a sweet two car garage with a master bedroom above it. It feels good to have everything in and harvested. Now we just gotta run the triminator for another month and I can pay everyone and give them there bonuses and send them on there way.

I can only imagine. My garden is a small fraction of yours and it still feels amazing. Last plan came down a few hours ago.

It feels really really good. Especially when I hit the point of covering all of my expenses and paying out everyone that has to get paid. It's gonna be even nicer when I'm sitting on a beach in Roatan Honduras in a couple weeks with my fiancé. But until then I will continue to grind and put in 10 hour days.

Lol you're suppose to stop posting about me after you tell me to leave not keep using me for the topic. You just admitted what you typed up was incoherent. You were patting yourself on the back for work thats not finished. thread is over anyways since you cant talk about economics or how contradicting your text has been. its cute how you guys attack me. you're b grade outdoor looks ok.

And the winner of hater of the year is........(drum roll please) grayarea!!!

Fantastic year Mendo. Enjoy the fruits of your labor, enjoy your vacation and continue to stay above the haters. One piece of advice I would love to give for this time of year is, spring starts in the fall. Get your cover crops on, feed the microbes one last time with a good fish fert, and let it sit for the winter. I also apply a product called Rejuvenate from AEA that really helps break down the roots from last season.

Congrats on your girl saying yes. I know I wouldn't be half the man without my better half.
