Im not quite sure what made me believe it but if that the case I am much happier knowing I can store material until I have enough to run a good amount! Thanks!

I've used product that was over a year old from the freezer. Flowers that were cured properly, then frozen...& I didn't notice a difference.

I'm not sure why the same wouldn't apply to trim?

I'm not disagreeing with anyone, but why would the same not apply to trim?

I think it was a misconception bro. I go from trim lower buds and larf and clippings straight to freezer. No dry no cure and it stays good for a very long time. Years for sure. Not sure what would happen if one tried to blast it but for making butter then into other edibles it's perfect. So to answer your question I believe the same actually does apply to trim.

because when I cap it up, the cold decreases air pressure and makes a vacuum in the jars
when I open them ice cold, the caps tend to pop up generally evacuating some trim onto the floor...

the caps and rings are there, but not tightened
That's odd. I cap and that's never happened. But whatever lol. Almost cut my whole garden down yesterday. Lol. Way to heavy on the cookies. Ate a single cookie but probably three cookies worth of dough. Fucking horrifiying lol.

One of these days you'll have to try my hash caramel. I saturate the fat content with cannabinoids so a morsel the size of your top thumb phalange holds 300mg active cannabinoids. They're developing quite the reputation among those who've tried them. But yeah eating even slightly too much has gotten me pacing around the house with a shotgun a couple times.

Eating 1200-1500mg active cannabinoids is enough to make you trip. Most folks just get motion sickness and vomit for a few hours, some of us get wild though.

I turn into a plant chopping punk who hides in his room. Lol. I'd love to try them bro. I'm making quite a name with my edibles as of late so I'd like a new thing to make as well.

Well i grow indoor so my trim from last round still only makes the storage time two months since i cut. I think after this round ill be ready for some buuuuuble. Just found a 5 piece 5 gallon bag set for 20$ woot

Im fascinated to know if and when theres a exp date on freezer'd trimmins!

Edit to add: also dude, ive only ever grown out one crop. This round will be my second. Im a beginner of sorts lol.

It helped a lot that all i did was study day in day out for 6 months while i slowly accumulated equip to do a real setup. Still now i learn stuff everyday. But when i first started i crammed info in my brain every hour of every day
Me and you are pretty much at the exact same stage, and I did all that cramming when I started earlier this year. I harvested about 7 grams off my first run this year (first since high school, second all together). That was in soil. I switched to dwc and now keeping mother in soil. That's nuts though how we both are about the same...

Im still in Denver... workin towards climbing further up the hill...

Yeah, so you are already in a vacuum of sorts. The freezing in a vacuum multiplies that effect. When he opens it, it's a lot of air pressure rushing in, pushing the shake out. This is something that would not happen at sea level sealing it like he said.

People think that there is less oxygen at higher altitudes. In the heights they are talking about there is the same percentage of oxygen. The difference is the air pressure. He is already 20% lower (if i recall correctly) than sea level.

That shit is hilarious!! The first time I ever had an edible was on a 14hr flight to south america!! You wanna talk horrifying?? I had no idea weed could even do that!!! I was 14 and at the time aerolina argentina still allowed smoking in the back half of the plane (ahhh the good ole days) and I sat there vomiting and freaking out about the whole time!! Next time an edible was in front of me I literally started to sweat, shit every time I see one I think about that first time!!

So it triggered an anxiety attack, solely because it was an edible? It wasn't dose related?

I ask because I'm going to (hopefully) be using them for the first time in a few weeks, & I don't know what to expect....

The last time I made cannabutter it was just too strong.I like edibles but I don't care to much about being comatose on the couch.

The rule with edibles is that strain choice is paramount, followed immediately by proper dosing. Edibles active ingredient once metabolized is actually delta-8 thc, and reacts very differently than delta-9. I find a strong sativa hybrid (70-80% sativa) is optimal in terms of getting high and having fun. Strong indica will just destroy most people. I call it the three hour rule- with indica, no matter where you are, you'll need a nap three hours after ingesting a good indica based edible. 100% sativa effects don't translate great into the edibles for some reason, a little indica in there helps to really get you going.
