WE the noobs... haha... Yes, I'm more than grateful as well...
Somehow, reading through 100 posts does not make it up to having a direct expert advice... gotta love this site and its people!

@Ooopsi @Vggir you both are right on that.. When I got my first clone I was a complete rookie to this.. Luckily I found some great people on here.. Shit I didn't even know about soil or anything lmao

Just think how hard it was to learn how to grow before the prevalence of the internet:) Knowing where and how to find information is like 90% of the battle. Friggin hightimes was considered a legit and very good source of knowledge for an awful long time. Where it used to take many years to learn, I think most new growers can compete with the seasoned pro's if they ask the right questions and take in the right knowledge to form their base of understanding.

Thank goodness for the old guy that taught me that if you cut off the top of a plant it will make it bushier, how to tell females/prevent seeds, etc. None of it had names, just "this is how you grow dope kid."

I definitely give prop's to the guys & girls who grew like bad ass's before having internet at your fingertips.. We are lucky enough to create an account and have it all right in front of us.. I almost wish I got to learn without the internet because then I would've been forced to learn all aspects of the plant.. Don't get me wrong though, I love having extremely experienced farmers one click away.. Y'all have definitely saved my ass more then once

Man its way better now, I learn new stuff all the time. Exchanging ideas/methods is amazing, there are many ways to go about this here dope growing.

You didn't miss much, the trial and error didn't teach you about plants really, just how to not kill them. I thought miracle grow tomato food was the best thing ever for like 10 years...and maybe it was as there wasn't really a nutrient market like there is now. My group used the perimeter of corn fields quite often, who knows what kind of terrible crap we ingested, we just thought that we could take advantage of the spillover effect of whatever was being used on the corn, gnarly pesticides and all.

edit: well i utterly failed...but was going to make the point that there wasn't anything to stop misinformation and just bad growing practices in general so it just perpetuated itself.

Here's my girls after waking up.....moved the 2 that were under the T5 and put them under the LED, and visa versa.
