I ended up having to raise my light a bit higher.. Until I finish the register hole in the ceiling, which my wife had a few choice words about :sweating:.. I got some seaweed extract but I'm gonna wait until I can fully go through another site I wanna use

I use m.h or hps for veg..but the key is all in the spectrum + temps with getting bushes or lanky stupid plants.i use a 125, 64000,kelvin. veg spec,bulb and for upto 4!weeks its all i use for seedling to veg.it makes a nice tight plant,with tight nodes. then i add the 250,m.h or hps.wen the 125, aint enough no more,. im not exactly a new grower like.but i just had a look anywsy.good luck to yas lads.

I really enjoy seeing grow light reflectors now for cfls with larger bulbs. If I hadn't dedicated on hps/mh. A few cfls with reflectors would make for a good alternative.

See im just the opposite. Im all about us providing our own meds, (growing our own) instead of these dispensaries. Just like weekend farmers markets cannabis farmers could network together. All you have to do is stay humble, Non selfish, and have a listen first respond later mindset. Im in vermont and honestly.......i could care less what cannabis's legal status is. Its a part of my life. Now as for not having smoke? I climb walls cause i use mine for pain management.......jesus crist dude several zips a month? Id never leave my couch. Or have lungs left lmao.

As you can see im currently bootlipping myself waiting lol. God forbid you ask a local for a few grams to tide you over. 50 bucks a slice here for kiefed buds sadly enough.

Damn cats. Mine gets crabby and bites my foot if he wants some.

New England is pretty pricey, will say though I experienced quality that was second to none when I lived out there. Was 70 an 8th for high end, 60 for just average quality. That was before prices started crashing as more states went legal though.

I drink lots o coffee and try to stick more with Sativa to fight off weed naps. Been smoking for an awfully long time so it isn't that big of a deal anymore to hop off the couch and just go about the day.

I think I like it because the fact that you can walk in just like at taco bell and order a number 3 or 4 lmao.. I honestly think that's the only reason why to me.. Yea I have to have it also, as it helps with me getting some sleep and my back.. I'm probably at 2 zips a month for personal lol.. I may need to start strengthening my lungs to hang out with @xavier7995 lol.. Is that hempy bags I see?? Curious because that's what I wanna jump to

Alright I need yalls help again :crying2: lol.. The HPS burnt the top of my ChemDog.. What's a good way to get her to recover quickly or anyway really lol.. Thank yall

Does your hps have a glass "shield" to reduce radiant heat exposure by creating a barrier?

Would a cool tube be an option?

Unfortunately I don't have the glass.. I really don't have the funds to buy a cool tube just yet.. I raised the hood about 5 inches and I got the temp down from like 88 to 81

see...it's very easy to wind up going through a rather large amount when you have a lot on hand all the time. I'm in CO and the legal plant count works really well running in a 5x5 under a 1k, it's not too hard to kick out 1.5 to 2 lbs every couple months. I keep six in veg in a tote so as soon as I chop I can stick 6 more in.

Edit: look around for some diy cool tube instructions. You can pick up the tube for like 10 or 20 bucks at a craft store or Amazon and wiring it up isn't very hard.

They do charge a pretty penny, all it is though is a glass tube with a light socket attached to one end. You can throw a reflector on top or just paint the top 3rd white. Quite a bit of stuff targeting growers is an absolute ripoff, from nutrients to equipment.

Cool tube and a decent fan should take care of your heat, that's all I use for my 1k.

There all i use on 600 watts and bigger.

I adore kooltubes for 600 watts and bigger. Anyone using 400 try these plantmaxx 4200 bulbs out.

Those are in a 3 x 3 x7 growlab tent. 1000 watts total for veggin. I use dual spectrums all flower too. Well until week 9-10.
