The seawarp pots are filled whew we! 7 30's, Lane forest brand organic soil. Basic stuff, but it's super black and smells so good. The seawarp are semi auto flower and pretty dank good smoke, hope they get big enough to use the 30s, they are soaking in water now and will all get direct sowed into the 30s

Mini greenhouses are down, cages are on, greenhouse is ready for plastic, al, is right in my world.
New member; new grower. Nice greenhouse!!! We're in the middle of deciding which greenhouse system we're going to go with in our licensed (Oregon) grow, and I'm wondering what made you decide to build it yourself versus buying a "cannabis greenhouse (if you considered it)." We're also going to be growing sustainably out of 65 gallon containers sited on our farm (and we also have a couple of mini-bulldozers...American Guinea Hogs). Looks like things are coming together nicely for you. I'll be checking in on the progress of your garden; thanks for opening up your slice of heaven to the rest of us.

Well, when I started building, I had a "friend" here to help. We had a huge ass falling out after the foundation was in, and after that, the work ended up being done by me, and I don't have the best knees so it was definitely a struggle doing it myself and up and down ladders. In the end, I wish I had just spent the cash for a farmtek brand greenhouse. His vision wasn't my vision, and the design changes from tyracers design just created way more work and expense, for no good reason. I originally saw a nice DIY greenhouse on youtube from the user tyracer, and I wish I had stuck to my guns and built the exact same thing, as seeing it all done, that was the better build, for a much better price. I didn't end up saving all that much over a farmtek of similar size and a metal frame greenhouse like that would have vastly outlasted mine. But this one will be paying for my dreams, so can't complain. We are under contract for a big acreage parcel south of me, and when I redo greenhouses on the new parcel, I wont do a DIY one again, it will be a farmtek.

Bangi hazes. They are showing to me the cold hardyness. They are the happiest overall on the cold cloudy days and growing the most. Also in ground though to, so might be part the reason.

New property we are doing on an owner carry Hasan old barn on it, snapped a few shots. I won't be posting pics really of the new property, gonna be more secretive about the place I intend to live on forever, and hopefully be buried on.

Putting down roots! Finding that property that is 'the one' is a great feeling. All the plants are looking happy and healthy too. Oh and if you are looking for something more long term you might want to check that whatever greenhouse you go with in the future meets the building codes and engineering needed to not get red tagged. Not sure how anal the state and county governments are about it up in Oregon, but here in the nanny-state of California they can be a real pain about that stuff. A surprising number of greenhouses can't meet the wind, snow and seismic loads the building department requires here, and therefore can't be a 'legal' structure.

Thanks for the helpful response papapayne. The farmtek house on on my list too. Once we make a decision, maybe I'll start a thread on bringing it on line. BTW, since this is a grow thread, your plants look (very) happy. Gonna be a good harvest! cheers,

Not terribly anal about greenhouses. Greenhouses are considered farm buildings (at least in my case) and as long as water and power are permitted, then they're good with it. I have to draw a basic picture, give them $30 for each house and that's about it. The level of service the farming community here gets from the planning department is very refreshing! (I used to be a general contractor, and have seen a different level of response from planning depts...different state.) I got a similar response to my question about converting an existing barn for processing (just make sure all the infrastructure is permitted), so maybe that's just how they roll.

Yea, this one is considered a temporary since it's t posts and no water or power to it, so didn't need a permit. My zoning at the rental is pretty lax. The new property we are under Contract is in a similar zoming, but it does have a creek on it and some wet lands so there is more setbacks required. But it's 20 plus acres, so there's plenty of space. Prob will take me a year or two to have it livable at that property. But Yea man, wife and I are stoked. It's a good compromise between her need to be by family, and my need to be secluded. It's an extra half hour drive to the city, and in a spot which will appreciate in value. Plenty of space for the garden, animals, dogs, house, and big enough to need an atv.
