yes you can....that will be fine...think of the res as starting out with shitty water..say tap...and adding...and yes you probably wouldn't add calmag to tap but be as it may...this is what you will do

I love it , I love it < I love it!!!!!!! I understand, and I feel awesome!!!!! Now I can began to understand my plants and what there telling me in their ppm, and I can start to understand a strain and get better at growing that strain every time.... Thank you @Wisher619 ... You explained to me something that I bet a lot of first time growers have no clue! Bro I am elated!

@Wisher619 Ok So I did a dummy... but I think It will ride... Get ur ass over here @Midwestjay ,, you might as well get a laugh out of this too... When I went to add the bloom, being all excited that I finally understand calculus, I accidentally pulled up 30 ml of PH down and shot her in the res......... So I happen to notice when I turned around to put the cap on it. Sweet Jesus of Bethlehem!!! Well I just mixed it up, added the proper 30 ml of bloom, mixed, and PH back to 5.8,,, (yes it took a lot of PH up) So now we are at 5,8 and 530 ppm. Well I am looking up the tote now cause I taped over the decal, but i think it is a 8 gallon tote and not 10 gallon like i thought! Which mean that I prob only got 7.8 gallons of water in there, which is why my ppm shot up there. Regardless I am getting a bigger res tomorrow!!! But Since I ph back to 5,8 i am fine with the dud dum right? It can ride right and I will just top off with water for a couple days to bring the ppm down to my base, right?

And even tho I don't see them having a problem with 2 cycles of f+d before I top off res and lower ppm hurting them. Do you?

And lastly, lol, at least for the night,,,,, I have been shutting off light between 12 am and 6 am. But I want to move thier off hrs to 12pm to 6 pm, which is the hottest part of the day, plus I think electric is cheaper at night. can I make this change, and should I give them prolonged dark cycle, or prolonged light cycle, to get them on new schedule?

but since they are in coco you can wait a day and dump that res....and reset everything tomorrow when you have the new res......I dont even pull out any PH until I am completely done with my mix

And right. I will just shut down the table till tomm, after res change.

oh yeah and for the lights.....let the lights stay on until 12am and then shut them off....basically letting them stay in light a few hours more then normal....should be fine....

I just laughed it off... Stupid. Will just start doing things a little different, and taking a little more time to do things. I don't know why I was hurrying. I had no reason too... Other than wasting 10 gallons of water, some nutes, and 30 ml of ph up and down, it didn't hurt nothing..... LOL

No, I don't think you're a douche, it's a common mistake. But as far as commenting on a thread, of late I haven't had as much time as I would under normal conditions. Apologies. Let me take a look (keeping in mind that I've never grown an auto on purpose, and the accidents got to a massive 3" tall, with these 2" colas, you shoulda seen it! Epically tiny!). Crikeys! You've got yourself a thread, doncha? You don't really need my help here though, you've got others giving you really good advice and if I have nothing to add, I won't.

The site has been invaluable for me. I appreciate the time and effort that had been afforded to me, and the progress that I am achieving, is solely because of this site, and @Wisher619 patiently taking the time to explain why he has me doing certain things, instead of just telling me what to do...

I thoroughly enjoyed your thread! There is no such thing as a "cal-mag" deficiency

careful......remember....water....then cal mg.....then nutes.....then measure.......then PH if need be
