I see what you're saying; It's like blue M&Ms vs. red M&Ms. Why don't the Vics work for me? Why don't the Oxys? If you tell me it's all in my head, I'll try both again with a tinfoil hat on.
Got a nephew-in-law that had back problems. Nothing worked for him, either. He got a script for some kind of antidepressant called gabo-something. Said it was the only thing that killed the pain. He had balls enough to get the surgery and it worked out fine for him. I am testicle challenged when it comes to doctors with knives. Malpractice kills more people every year than anything else combined.

My brother's MIL had neck problems. They took her in for surgery. She walked in and came out in a chair. Stayed in the chair for six months before she went tits up. The doctor, ONE DAY after her surgery, hopped a big bird back to Punjab, never to be seen again.

LD, I've seen friends chew Oxys. Hit ya all at one time when you chew 'em? Bet they taste nasty.

Gabapentin its a muscle relaxor..

dunno why it don't work for you could be shit brand of generics.. who knows.

Some people can stomach the flavor of oxy and apap.. I can't thats just gross.. They hit hard enough just swallowing them for me lol

Yep. That's the stuff. It's also used off label for nerve pain. He swears it's the only thing that gave him relief before he got the surgery.

As far as I know Percocet, Vicadin and the like are all Oxycodone of some sort. Been on Percocet for years, about 14. They help, don`t get enough to kill the pain though. They better not cut `em, have not heard any thing from my Dr.
It's just my state doing it... for now. I'm sure there are others doing it too, they all will before long I'm sure.

Gabapentin is an anti-epileptic medication, also called an anticonvulsant. It affects chemicals and nerves in the body that are involved in the cause of seizures and some types of pain.

Gabapentin is used in adults to treat nerve pain caused by herpes virus or shingles (herpes zoster).

The Horizant brand of gabapentin is also used to treat restless legs syndrome (RLS).

The Neurontin brand of gabapentin is also used to treat seizures in adults and children who are at least 3 years old.

A little thing I found and copied, used for seizures and nerve pain. My doctors put me on it to try to help with the burning type pain I get from always being on my ass and backs of my thighs, I wasn't real sure about it at first but, it does seem to help.

I used to know this guy that had tons of problems with different stuff and ate all the pain killers he could get ahold of and he would always drop that shit on a plate and go right at it with a lighter crushing the hell out of them then lick them right up off the plate a few at a time.

@Papa Indica, I have RLS too. The Neurontin did nothing for me. Dr. put me on Requip and it works real good.
Runs in my moms family, they call it the murphy shake lol.
i have been bothered with it since I was about 25, comes and goes but they say it gets worst as you age.
But I have found high cbd strains to help a lot and stretching helps tremendously especially before bed.

No input on the vape tanks/coils from anyone? I know someone on here had some advice about them awhile back.
Don't know much about 'em, Papa. I use eleaf mods and Melo tanks. Never used anything else. Try the one you got for a while. Ya might like it. If not, I'll turn you onto the place I buy my stuff from. Takes a month to get it, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper. I use the .5 ohm coils, too.

Thanks for the info on the pain pills. They kinda scare me 'cause they'll take out your liver after a while, and I need mine for beer day.

I got my Provari with a 6ml tank and 1.5ohm dual coil tank setup..

Its a pretty old style setup mostly replaced with rebuildable shit i never bothered to learn about :D

so i cant be much of a help either.

Good luck giggy I hope it works for you.
I've had a lot of knee scopes. He keeps pulling out bone chips but can't tell me where they come from. A hip replaced and carpal tunnel surgery on both hands. All successful I think I'm pushing my luck. I know the orthopedic surgeon real well lol.

gabapentin is an old seizure med repurposed for neuropathy. I am on it now. seems to be helping a bit. since I started them I don't need a vicoden to sleep anymore. So it is doing the job
Guess I'll talk to the piss drinking Hindu I go to and see if'n he'll write me a script for it. It'll either work or it won't. Weed does help, caps, smoking, or balms. Beemer balm is one of my mainstays.

When i was in my 20`s wife would tell me i running at night. No pain involved, so i didn`t think a lot about it. In my late 50`s, my legs would hurt and started to twitch when i was watching TV. then my arms started to do it too. My Dr. sent me to a neurologist, he prescribed Requip and then the Requip XL. Now i have very small twitches from time to time. They make a helluva difference.
