I spent most of the day at work daydreaming about taking a clone from each, rooting them and breeding them all under my one 2 bulb t5. In the garage...no extras. 1/2 gal coco pots.. head recipe.

I want the vibrant characteristics of the bag seed. I want the potency (24% claims) and the yield (Boxing glove size colas) claims) from the incredible bulk... And I want to make it purple :)

ooooom nom nom nom, lol. That sounds delicious! SO... at about 3:30 in the am, I couldn't sleep and decided to swap out my t5 for the 400hps I have in the tent. the gorilla glue is throwing pistils but still stretching. I cant believe the stink she's putting off in this stage.

QUESTION/COMMENT?
I have my HPS@ 14" from the canopy. leaves aren't praying so I figure it's close enough. Comments?

About the T5 Veg, I'm kind of confused on the necessity of light in t5 I guess. my understanding is you have to keep em like 6" from the plant. However, I've seen videos of people having them like feet from the plants. I must say, the t5's are definitely workin well, I just don't know how well they'd do in flower and if I have the HPS available I may as well go ahead and use it...

14" on a 400hps is prob all right.. Honestly bro, I leave my lights all the way up now, in veg the whole time with 400mh, and I have my 600hps all most all the way up..

I just checked and my mh/veg is 30 inches, and my hps/flower is 24 inches... It also makes it easier to control temps at canopy, and in tent.

I wouldnt use a t-5 for flower
just for veg

if you just switched from t-5 to HPS

I would leave the hps as high as possible
until the flowers are done stretching
then drop it down to about 14" from canopy

And I love the praying. You don't? That the best sign they can give you as far as I know... @Wisher619 ... Prof Wish... Give us are lesson tonight.. You now have 2 pupils.. Hopefully you dont start charging us :(

28" from canopy. I've been looking at foot candle charts, but they dont take into account growing techniques :P

o btw. I e-mailed botanicare to get their full scoop on the colony in HG. I asked him if you have to keep adding since the Colony is supposed to keep progressing. He said, technically you don't. However, if you for whatever reasons have fluctuations in your rhizosphere, you could potentially cripple the colony so he suggests adding a little every water but you don't need to keep adding even the 2mg/gal. Gave me a lttle closure and maybe save some bucks in the future. haven't flushed the buckets yet and my roots are damn pretty :D

75 @ the canopy right now. the humidifier I have in there keeps it right around 50 at all times.

I run a drip to waste
I add to every res
but then again
the res runs down to empty and then I restock
but with something like a recirc system or bubble bucket
I would always have it in there just because

you see the duct i have tie wrapped to the pump? i hung the pump for one cuz it was vibrating my entire room and stuck a 1/2" tube on it.. works great :). light comes on it goes up a couple but off it's around 70 n the HG thrives better in warmer water... 80 deg they say but I aint going that high, lol
