I forgot to say anything, but I went to the music festival yesterday for Duane Allman's birthday. I was sitting in the grass with my wife and I saw a guy walk up and sit with a few people behind me, I told my wife it looked a lot like Greg Allman, sure enough it was. I didnt want to bother him, I'm sure he just wants to be left alone. I got up and turned around and a shook his hand. Told him I really enjoy his work. Smooth cat right there.

Saw 'em sometime back in the '90s at a HOG national in one of those states where they say Ya'll (too old, too stoned, too fucked up at the time to remember).
Hotter than a MF, bikes and titties and beer galore.

Kinda felt sorry for 'em. Walked into the auditorium to get out of the
sun and there they were! Had 'em playing WAY too early, like around 14:00-16:00 hrs. Too much shit going on to stay inside for long. Out of around 23K people, maybe 200 watching them. Pity. Great band.

hello folks, we found the deer and my phone. it had laid to long so he got the horns. it was a small 8 point. it was a gut shot. hope everybody had a great day, i got to spend time with my mom and it was wonderful. going by dad's grave tomorrow, not really looking forward to it but i have to do it. yall have a great evening folks. peace

Good morning giggy and the rest of the OFC. Hope everyone has a great day. Thinking that at my age they`re all great as long as I`m vertical, I can deal with the shit of the day. On the other hand, deer hunting has changed for me. After 30 years I find myself contemplating my choices and I choose to go on. I enjoy being in the big woods, it never was about killing for me. The time spent with my hunting partners was something special, something that I looked forward to every year. Change is inevitable, guess that I just was not ready for it. I have other friends, but not hunting partners. Lets get today started the right way, the OFC way. It`s "wake n bake" time in Curmudgeonland. Get a cup of coffee and a bowl of medicinal herb and here we go, puff, puff and passin`.

my hunting friend that use to camp down the big ditch by you yooper is unable to hunt or golf any more because of poor health. I supply his pot and venison needs. He called me last night to tell me he saw my deer on Facebook and wanted to congratulate me . Great to hear from him . I miss our hunting the big ditch. But he was very proud of my 8 point. many years we got no deer ,but always had a fantastic hunt with friends.
deer is processed, and I am not hunting any more. lol afraid I might get another one. To much work.

Good morning everybody. Hope all is well.I was going to go call coyotes this morning but its too windy. I guess ill go check my traps, skin, and do some trimming. Buddy brought by 4 yotes yesterday, the fur is starting to look good. Coons almost there as well. Bobcat season opens dec 1.

Ya can always donate it to the hungry peeps programs. Keep on huntin`. The "Big Ditch" is just up the road. Never hunted that area, but have did some walking and looking there.

Titties and beer ? Used to frequent a bar that we nicknamed "titties and beer", as in " meet me for lunch at titties and beer at 12:30". Was actually a "shop rat" bar "down in the hole". Lafferty`s Lounge, long gone, but sure as hell not forgotten. Ya could get away with smoking a joint in there as well. Good burgers too.

Just putzing around the house and garden. Sure is nice doing whatever whenever.
Missingold hunting partners and old times. Sorry some of you guys are loosing them to health issues. Call them up and reminisce if possible. They are missing old times to, might just lift their spirits for the day.

We always called it "titty city". Wasn't one of my favorites, but a good one, none the less.

Only been hunting once since Redskin went tits up, and he's been gone for fifteen years or better. Got up north, put up the tree stand, sat in it for a couple of hours, and got a call from Fat Bob saying we had one to plant. Loaded up and headed back. He apologized for interrupting my hunting. I pretended to be pissed just to get a few sympathy beers, but I'd rather be digging graves than to be hunting alone. Just ain't as much fun.

Oh don't tell the "know it alls " that, i made a comment on another site about an individual who is helpful but over the top with some of the things he says to folks..........It's amazing how the wrong energy applied to something so simple and PERFECTED by nature can be bottlenecked or destroyed by mans hand!
I gave up on waiting for someone to give me insight on wiring a capacitor, thanks but no thanks i guess.

I don't know shit about 'em or magnetic ballasts. All three of mine are digital. Guess a trip to "ask.com" might help ya out. As like anything you read on the net, you have to read a bunch to tell which are bullshit and which are true.

I am way too nervous around wires.........i used to trim powerlines and have seen some asplundh guys(not who i worked for) get killed not respecting their training, one in absecon NJ actually burned his arms off so tbh i just think in the long run after replacing a 50 dollar capacitor, maybe the ignitor too after it being run pretty solidly since 2008, lmao the wife says to leave it where it lays and be happy it gave me so many yrs of service......shes a navy lady, and she's right! I can buy a 5 yr warranteed 600 replacement ballast for around 125-150 tops so imho its worth it. Hard to believe folks but i made this ballast run from 2008 to just this past august, neevr changed a capacitor,ignitor, ANYTHING. It's due for upgrade anyway!

On a SUPER positive note I have found a superb replacement bulb for the time being and honestly the last 48 hours underneath a new plantmaxx 400mh, 7200k bulb has made my plants turn SUPER greasey! I am in utter AWE right now, I only have them in flower under a MH because my hps in down atm and im impressed my friends! I reached back to water a plant in the back of the tent and brushed a flower (10 days into 14/10) with my armhair and it dreadlocked up my armhair! REEKS of pinetrees and lemon, never had em this sticky so early..............
