nothing wrong with cookie fam mate..I especially like the crosses..I really like mendobreath, dosido, birthday cake, wedding cake, sherbert, gelato..I'd say some of these are going to absolutely melt back pain away.

Original Ghost and SFV was passed by Scott and is still being held by some folks in the know. I like the RD fam source because it's more verifiable. I really liked their Devils' Krew cut of GTH#1(ghost x neville's wreck) massive yielder and very potent. It is getting harder to find the original ghost and sfv with all the fakes, crosses, and s1's. Ghost has a bit of a weaker structure than SFV. I don't think Ghost is still in the game..ORGNKD seems to be around again...he passed a shit ton of s1's around....along with some very mixed info back in the day..lol @Judaz..you seem to be a purist at heart, but most of the good clone-only OG cuts are only going to be slightly different. I hope you find what you are looking for, but you might have it already.
I agree with you about the cookies made :-). I may have expressed some frustration in that last post only because there are so many different cookies that you could choose from and just like the OG, you really don't know who's got the store brand and who's got the Chips Ahoy. Anime and of the mindset that if people are using cookies as medicine for example. And Chips Ahoy is what helps their depression then give them Chips Ahoy! Don't give them something that's in a package that looks just like Chips Ahoy that's not. You know? I lived in the Bay Area for 6 years from 98 to 04 and jigga no see a couple of musician friends of mine. If it's not coming from the cookie family from San Francisco then it's chips away or some other shit. Anybody running a good cookie hybrids they would suggest? No couch lock.

And even more intrigued I am about dungeon Vault genetics and they're grandpas breath? I mean I thought strawberry dogshit with a fucked-up name for a strain but a partner of mine in Michigan was knocking it out of the park for a couple years and I asked him for some seeds he gave me a bunch anyway cookies yeah dungeon vault foul mouth grandpas breath Humble Pie all that stuff. I'm curious if it's the same ingredients as the cookie family from San Francisco. The F1 X Durban X Kush. My man Judaz would know.

I haven't heard anything definite but I think they were using they decided that the triangle and the ghost were the real deal or whatever. And all of the samples that hadn't been verified they were going to verify them against the ghost OG. I don't know if that makes any sense to you it's hard for me to explain because I just seen a brief blurb that I didn't read in great detail. But I'm glad you brought it up because I have been wanting to know for about 2 years now hahahahaha are you running any Oggi's right now? If so what are they?

So the story on it originating from Florida is correct ? I read in an earlier post they were mentioning the parent could be a TK and basically chemdog was ruled out. I'm truly interested in finding this information out i live in the Valley of LA and i am surrounded by OG this OG that.

Updates on the OG genome project:

I spoke with Nathan today from phylos bioscience and he actually went and asked the ceo about the whole thing with the Adam Dunn Show and the og kush testing. He mentioned that they are in the process of sequencing that exact og kush stem sample but he is not sure if the results will be made public yet and did not give me a name for it. I'm not sure why and he could not comment due to privacy issues. But so far the other guy had given me wrong info about the the ghost cut. They don't have the ghost cut. The 619 og on their site is not the ghost cut. http://galaxy.phylosbioscience.com/?source=website The cluster of all the related og's and clones seems to be connected within this cluster. See image.

My personal opinion is that the LA OG kush that was brought from Florida is an actual S1 from the Triangle Kush that hermed into a seed and was found in a bag of TK. That's the LA OG Kush which then gave S2's to all the other OG's that we see in the area and of course came all the crosses later and og seeds which are sub par from the clone only s1's in my opinion. Like I mentioned before my cut is most likely the s1 from TK and I can't say it's better than the TK as I have never had TK but definitely better than all the other og cuts I've sampled in LA. I'm yet to find a better og cut.

When my prized og kush clone only cut closes to a finish looking like this, its my favorite type of batch to cure and save for personal smoke. they usually aren't my biggest yields but my best tasting and smelling batches that I crave for that most bring that creative, energetic and euphoric buzz with small hits and that relaxing narcotic like warmth feeling throughout your body And when my bottoms are as dense and crystallized as the tops, I know I will finish her right. The secrete is not a nutrient schedule or feed program. Yes certain nutes are needed to achieve this but the main ingredient is technique. By keeping her ec at balance the 1st 4 weeks. Then slowly running her at a small ec runoff deficit the last 5 weeks making her leaves turn lime green to what I call a healthy not burnt yellow at the end without burning her out. Buds end up super lime green and heavily coated with crystals. No need to flush... And I use about 1/4 of the total amount of nutes suggested by most og schedules. Most growers over feed and burn the buds resulting in darker looking nugs.

What's up with the foxtailing? That's new to me for Og's and the fade to yellow is rare usually it's tough for me to get that fade on my Og's, usually zero purple and some light green fade but still looks yummy, nice og's @Judaz

It's a digital ballast new hood room that I'm dialing in. In the attempt to find the right hood height for this room's environment. I pushed them a little close not enough to burn the buds but cause them to fox tail a little on some parts of the upper canopy that I found hot spots. So next time I know where they are and should produce better air flow there. The yellow leaf fade is tough yes. If you learn to master this you'I'll maximize the quality of any og you grow. No flushing required at the end of done correctly from week 5. It's a dangerous technique to the novice grower

AKA the fade, tricking the plant to think it's time to ripen up, by replicating the fall/autumn...

Gotcha. It's the best way to maximize quality and taste especially using synthetic fertilizers. By running her ec runoff at a slight deficit it forces the plant to pull from its own reserves. Resulting in a slow gradual flush. I also cut the hours the last few days from 12 to 10 to 8 which signals fall is here and gives that last final push on crystals and weight.

Your in the same realm other then the synthesized mineral salts, I don't think they have anything to do with nature or autumn, but what do I know, maybe that I don't know much...

@IPlay4Keepz personally I think your PK looks a bit more like my Skywalker OG. Based on the leaf blade width and Bud Structure. There is so many og kush phenos floating around that it's very tough to tell them apart. I love my skywalker cut but when it comes to taste, high and strength it falls a bit short from my prized og clone which I've tested and always has scored in the 24% + Thc levels next to all the top of the food chain cannabis cup winning og's
