That Afgan Kush wonder how closely related to the Hindu-Kush?
I was reading about types from central Asia, how they developed due to climate, soil conditions etc.
I imagine that they are very similar to each other in effect?

Good morning everyone! @keik hope you are feeling better? Got my soil supplies yesterday, waiting on the frass it is on its way.
I still feel like shit, this flu bug hit me hard.
Saw my doctor yesterday, just a check up, did a hemoglobin A1C at my request. Checked the results this morning, just as I thought it was high. Not bad, 6.1, but a pretty good indicator I will be diagnosed with diabetes. What's another diagnoses ? LOL! I suspected as much, with how I have been feeling.
The sun is up here, looks like a beautiful cold sunny day.
I am going to work on my plants trim off the yellow leaves, so I can get more light on those buds.
That last little stretch they had tells me be patient, but I am running out of space. The next batch wants to bloom, and I have to get clones from them.

Hey where is everyone, kiek, manc, mike, Buddha, my mentors ?
Well I will update on my plants.
My calender went notified me I am now at 55 days in bloom!:love1:;) WOO! HOO! Today when I opened the door to the blooming room I could actually smell that beautiful perfume, without rubbing the buds.
I think I may have mixed up my dates earlier?
So I learned that now I will include that approximate week of transition in my blooming time, at least for this line. I will of course allow for variables that could influence this.
Now I am waiting for trichs to change color, if they do?
I think at this point another day or 2 will be a plus to let them go.

Trichs may not change man and if they do it'll happen really fast. Its looking like they're done though.

I need some mentors as well! Ive been growing on and off for awhile helping others wiyh their set ups, transplants etc. Now i live alone and last summer did my first independent full cycle grow outdoors and have since bought 2 lights 600&1000 watt hps. I havent updated since my dogs ruined all my cuts about a ft high (forbidden fruit, PHC, mendo breath, clementine) only have one survivor I was able to rescue a forbidden fruit. I went out and got 5 gods gift, 3 do si do and 2 super skunk to start over and have them all under the 1000 watt for veg. The forbidden fruit I transplanted cause it was nearing the rootbound point and set up my smaller tent with the 600 watt and the FF being alone soaking up all those lumens. Only problem is I think it's getting too hot it's about 5 feet high and the walls are 2 feet wide. I could sit comfortably in a collapsible lawn chair( like baseball game ones) just giving you a idea of how small it is. I turned up my ballast all the way to 600 but when I checked on it and unzipped the tent it was super hot and the plant went from a light green to a light yellow so I turned it down back to 400. How can i combat this to raise it those extra 200 watts without fucking it up further? I have a fan in there pushing around air but maybe i should get some co2 cartirdges idk like i said i need mentors this will be my first full cycle indoor grow!

either get a floor ac or do an air exchange to where it expels the heat instead keeping it inside. floor ac you can use co2 also if you have a hood just venting out the heat from the light will help

@ Budda...Thanks, I think they are going to be good, all 5 might equal what one would expect from one plant if done by you expert growers. But you know what they went through and feel very fortunate to have this much.

400w in a 2sqf area is plenty turning it upto 600 is a total waste of energy a 600w can cover around 4sqf or 1.2sqm quite comfortable also air exchange is essential if your not using co2 even then it's good to have extraction set up on slow just for a little neg pressure and if temps spike too much hope this helps
