Bomb seeds are reasonably priced.
And I've read good reviews about them.

I'm gonna pick up 5 more flavors of theirs over time. That way I will have their entire offering of non-feminized genetics.

She is approaching watering.
I'm gonna wait until tomorrow and see how she looks.

Today's update on The Beast.

I had to wait a day. But she had enough internodal distance at the main branch growth tips to reattach the pipe cleaners up 1 node. So she was trained again. Her nodes are alternating now showing maturity. So training is becoming more difficult since I have to be conscientious of the soft new growth tips.

Most branches are just about right at the edge of the pot. As soon as I can secure each one to the pot edge that's when she will be left to grow vertical.

Securing each branch will give support via the pot. Seeing as I stretched the branches out so flat and far.

The core is filling in fast with new branching. I see a few reaching getting a head start. I will end up topping them down the line to even the growth out (gotta keep the canopy even).


She got her first taste of nutes today. Took 1.25 gallons to saturate the 10 gallons. She looks healthy enough.

I figured a light feeding once a week will keep any deficiencies at bay. Especially since the 10 gals of soil seems to be feeding her well on its own.

But there are soil additives like microbes to work the soil, molasses to feed the microbes, silica to help strengthen the branches I'm training that I want in the soil. And just the idea that I want the plants nutrient tank topped off at all times.

how big you gonna let her go? what's the wanted weight from her?

Once the 20 main branches reach the pot perimeter and become secured I'm letting it grow upwards.

I have no specific yield weight in mind. Rather I am focused on the idea of reaching the highest # that I can achieve this round.

My last rounds were successfull but smaller pots, smaller roots, smaller fruits. So I wanted to get larger fruits. Figured a giant pot would give me those results.

My main goal is filling the 10 gal pot with roots. So up potting, wet & dry cycles, along with training this bush flat have all helped promote root growth.

I'm gonna create as many main branches rising vertical as possible.
Maybe use pipe cleaners between final branching to create ideal spacing.



I'm also waiting on my 4 new seedlings to reach a certain level of maturity. I'm gonna stick 1 in each corner in a 1-1.5 gallon pot each. They will fill in the dead space in the tent that the beast doesn't reach. They will be single cola dominant I think I've decided.


My light is 400 watts.
I'm aiming to see how high gpw can be. But 400 grams I'm not sure is capable of fitting in a 2x2 tent lol.

My last grow was 129 grams.
So as long as yield keeps going up I'll be happy.

@rmoltis an update on the WFLA & NCCP I am vegging. The primordia have presented enough that I am able to start sexing, I already found 1 WFLA that is def male. He has been separated to isolation for pollen collection. Very robust stout male, with a nice dank aroma on stem rub.

I will stay vigilant over the next week of veg to catch any other males that present. I plan on 2 more weeks of veg then flip to flower. Will start defoliation of lowers today and allow to stabilze with as I said about 2 more weeks of veg. Based on the primordia/ preflowers they are reaching sexual maturity.

These genetics are lovin the environment in that tent you sent me. Thank you!!!!. My parameters are spot on including a ideal range of VPD. So much easier to control enviro with a smaller space.

Today's update on the micro tent.
I took #3 out for a photo shoot & a picnic (nutrients).

This gal has been doing great. The leaves are super dark green from being under T5 lighting.

I'm gonna give her a nutrient feeding today. Even though her soil is fresh and her roots haven't fully filled it yet. I just want to make sure her nutrients are topped off.


I am mulling over flipping her to flower within the next week or so.
Her nodes are alternating showing maturity, almost all her main branches are secured to the pot, she's hitting a growth spurt from the transplanting, and She is 4" at the tallest point Leaving 5.5" from the light fixture.

I think it's just about that time :)

Plus I'm really digging the idea of staggered harvests.

Yes I plan on running some f2's and will part with some once I can determine that the gene pool is stable with no herm or other issues.

Plant #3 in the micro tent got a defoliation today.

I figured if I was gonna flip within the next week or so that I should expose more new growth tips to the light so they could develop better.

I tried to defoliate as little as possible up to this point. My idea was more leaves & vegetation=faster root growth. But now this close to flower I need to start maximising new potential budsites. The rest of the roots will fill in automatically.



I also topped my #2 clone & begun training.

Seeds are all doing well. The critical super silver haze is still the runt but is staying alive.

Baby steps for me haha. Judging from the head start you have on me id be ok with a distant second place! I told myself I wasn't gonna buy any more beans til I popped some of the ones I had, but I couldn't pass up the bogo I got last time. Solution? Pop some beans lol. Honestly though I'm gonna put a hold on bean purchases til I get my garden up to speed. I'm diggin your wish list tho
