I use rubbing alcohol to clean my bulbs. Rubbing alcohol! That is a good idea! cleans then evaporates! Thanks BP!

What can i wash my mh bulbs off with? How do you properly clean bulbs? Having a fan pointed straight up at my open reflector does excellent at dissipating heat, but the neg of it, is it dirties the bulb up over time... I know im not the only one to deal with this issue.
@Wisher619 Since your opinion's usually have some factual basis and aint copied from one site to another, would you care to comment?

I would always throw my bulbs out after 2 runs but inbetween I would just wipe it down with a microfiber cloth
same with the inside of the reflector

hey brother....I see you dropped from 30 some " to 18"
I would actually raise it up to 24" and let it sit there for a few days before you slam it down that close
just so your plants dont accumulate light bleach
the same as throwing plants from under T-5 to the sun
in a few days some of the leaves will just bleach out and die

I actually did that or something close to that. I moved them down to 24 inches 2 days ago,, them moved them down to 18" tonight. I also measured every plant, just to be sure... I also improved air flow as i hadnt been blowing any air at the seedlings so far. Now i got a light breeze that gives the leaves a light flutter every few seconds, and lastly i dropped the temp in the tent down to 76... Raised ph to 6.1 and will let it slowly fall as the week progresses. It was at 5.6 today after 7 days of slowly falling from 6.1. Perfect!

Well me either,,,,,, but next run is the one that has to be perfect!!!! It will be the diesel and the cookies, and let's just say the bank wants some of their investment capital back....
Honestly I just ran these autos to try and showoff.
Honestly I have a secret number I'm shooting for, and it's big, especially for Autos! But I got to challenge myself. I get bored easy. I mean I've already got this hydro system to where I hardly ever do anything. Fish are harder to raise!!!

It's funny how I just couldn't wait to rdwc.. And I love it,,, BUT... If I was starting over and I knew what I know now I would run 8" pvc with 3" net pots every 6" and run single cola clones straight from the aero cloner to flower. . 128 plants in 4x4.. every 65 days...
I just know that beast mode numbers are in that setup!

He didn't he reply.. Im not for sure if he thinks im dreaming or he just letting me die a quiet death just in case! 1000 g! Thats no joke weight on 1200 watts with autos! I want something that say EVENT!!! These numbers are attainable, maybe far reaching lol, but its not unfathomable.. or at least i don't think it is..
I know,, weather I can do it or not,,, lol,, that's another question...
But i didnt come here to just get or accept just so so............................

So got the 2 Sour D moms in pots now, Im guessinf they are one gallon. So they are 22 days old today. Everything else is 15 days old... So far so good... Ec has dropped from about 1.03 ec to about .89. I have added ph up a couple times in between. Maybe 1 - 1.25 ml per/gal in 7 days.. So my ec was really .7 feed. I beleive its prob .5 - .55 ec now - ph chems. So it was 350 ppm and now its 250-275 ppm in 7 days... So i think im gonna bring my ppm back to 350 and go 2 days and raise to 450... Finish the week out and start day 21 with a new res set to 1.4 ... Im gonna stay with the grow thru first 6 weeks, Gonna hit them with kool bloom week 4 and week 6 then week 7,8, and 9 i will go to FNbloom,, and finish with florakleen week 10...

A. Enough feed
B. Too much feed
C. Not enough feed

And I see barely a 2 tone look to the leaves second node down from top. (2 bigger leaves at top )

And yes they are growing good! I want to keep them going real good! I done shot my big mouth off to @incogneato and then rubbed him about some fan leaves he made famous.. so if I don't come with in respectable distance of my goal, guess what I will have to hear for the next year :(
So I'm gonna up the feed.. 20 ml's
