You have to remember that the reason these sites exist is to sell things for a profit,whether that be seeds,lights,advertising etc etc,they are marketing tools first and foremost.Its a double edged sword,without it these sites wouldn't exist as we know them and with them you have to wade through the bs.You have to use common sense and not buy into the hype.

I almost went with LEDS, but my professor said a resounding NO. Save electricity, and heat is less of a problem (which is my snag because my place is short) but yield was poor. It's advertised otherwise but when 4 buddy's at the store each tried one, serious low yield across the board. Just my 2 cents :)

These forum seed sites have no professionalism. Just ban ya with no reason. Many times your never told why we get banned. Its all underground crap with kids brave and stupid enough to cash in on seed selling. Banning is cookies and IP recon... Just get a free Proxy Server connection and log back into IC on another name. For sites like News agency, AP network, locals DenverPost banning I'd use a device that you have never logged into that site with before in addition to the free Proxy Server download and if you want to get all incognito Anonymous Hacker, get IP packs... they're less than $10 thru most ISPs...
As far as forum seed seller sites, mods, owners being rude to us. Why buy their seeds if their rude to you. There are plenty of nice seed sellers who have the dank also. And many online seed sellers are popping up now. We're going thru some seed tek and distribution changes Very Soon!
Also Competition: every grower seems to have Attitude seed packs and their free seed packs laying around and now some new seed Co are just giving free seeds on the first order. No cash needed. So customer service will improve for seed selling companies that want their seed sales to stop declining.
I got banned at IC in 15 minutes,,, even more funny is thinking about IC banning all their seed buyers,,, now thats funny. IMO the folks running this forum seem to understand this better than IC. But these seed Co all have room for improvement. Shsss, I'm holding my breath sitting here waiting for this site to send me free seeds now....

Well then I hope he does see this. Squishy pants? Seeding humboldt? Associates and I have seen oodles of noodles from humboldt, living in Washington. Lbs upon lbs. We'd be devestated to find out everything was seeded. Who says crap like that?

You can say that again. But we all have a learning curve. Mine was steep there. Over two dozen plants completely COOKED because I listened to a moderator there. I wonder if he's still a mod, I know he was popped by mail, had to cool his heels for a while.

This is why I have hope for LED, you see pics like this and figure "theres got to be lights out there that work" which is what got me interested in the optilux in the first place, my ears are always open to new products. Ever heard of the biowave from hydrofarm? 20% yield increase? People are argue that almond growers are seeing a 20% increase in yield, but in not an almond grower, am I? So until I see some evidence that this $2400 spinning magic machine wonderfully produced and extra .75-1 lb off of a 4lb tent, then I won't buy it. These company's usually find a test grow etc but you could even grow a bunch of plants under hps + supplemental lighting, and then bring in the LED for the pretty photo shoot..

The internet is a maaaaaagical place

There are LEDs that work. I've been watching one guy on FB pretty much kill it using cheap Chinese LEDs. Meishi from eBay. If a seller doesn't perform on eBay, they'll lose the ability to sell via eBay. Maybe you might want to try eBay instead of that other place.

There's nothing at that site worthy of learning from, unless you want RM3 telling you your plants should never have an odor, and all varietals outside his gardens are inferior! One thing he was right about though, ill put my new hortilux t-5 bulbs up against any cob ,led, plasma wtf ever you got lets go buddy!
