Joe's Grow Show Pt. 1: The Coco Diaries

It's probably too early to tell lol. It looks more like a new leaf to me. I won't be making any rash decisions either way.

Good morning! (Where I'm at) lol. Hope everyone having a beautiful morning/day/night. Here's a few pics of the babies. They're getting close to flip I just want to let them fill out a little more and let my little runt catch up a bit. I did some major defoliation as a project. I Ct everything except the 4 tops. I'm just going to keep it to 4 simple tops and se what happens with her. She went through some things young and grew a bunch of nodes with no space in between. Couldn't tie it down because they were so stocky they would snap if bent even a little. Now she's stretching out of time and looking day and night better. I almost culled her out and now I'm thinking she has something. Special in her.

Here is most recent pic. I just tightened down all the pipe cleaners and stretched this babies out some more. Today I will be going in during lights off and checking for light leaks and make sure it's dialed in for when flower starts. I'll also be cleaning big time. Covering any leftover insulation still exposed. Cleaning all dust and clutter. And spray the perimeter for bugs one last time. I've slacked on cleanliness in veg a little bit during flower cleanliness will be top priority. Looking forward to the coming weeks. Also got all my bloom nutes in. I'm going to post my schedule in a few min and see what you guys think

So as far as flower nutes I will basically be using AN line per their instructions as I found out in veg when I stopped messing with their advice the problems were gone. From what I hear that's how this stuff is

Ph perfect sensi Coco
bloom A-4ml/L
bloom B-4ml/L
Bud Ignitor 2ml/L week 1-2
Voodoo Juice 2ml/L week 1-2
Big Bud 2ml/L week 2-3-4
B-52 2ml/L week 3-4-5-6
Overdrive 2ml/L week 5-6
Flawless Finish to flush

What do you guys think about the Rhino Skin. Should I cut it completely at bloom or use lightly for first week or 2?

Update time. Officially switched to 12/12. The girls all seem to be settling in very well. They are 7 weeks from popping. All are around 20" tall and with LST and topping they are as wide as they are tall or wider. I know I could have vegged longer and let them blow up more but the goal is to see what a 6 week veg will do as I am building a separate room and plan to put them in to the flower room every 6 weeks.
I'd love to hear if anyone has any advice or sees something I can improve on. Thanks

Man it is a beautiful day here in the Bay Area. Nor cal. 75 sunny with a slight breeze. It's making me think about cleaning up my yard a little to throw a couple girls out there for the summer come mid May. Hope everyone is having a great day. Positive vibes to you all!!

Finally comfortable enough to show their goods. It literally took two weeks since I saw the preflowers start to form until the pistils finally started showing. I was pretty sure they were female but wanted to see those hairs before I jumped to conclusion.

woohoo. you be smoking in no time.. i cant wait for that flip! heh..

chris.
Hella ya bro! I actually just smoked a little of the GSC that these seeds came from. Fire! I love it. Can't wait to see how they turn out! The flip is awesome lol but I have my lights on from 6pm to 6am to level out heat during day and the cool at night. Even though its insulated it's still a detached unit in my backyard so it can cool down. I've found it manages the heat better than the cold. The only downside to that is less time to see the girls. Ha. I work construction (union glazier) so I'm rarely up late.

Just tightened down the LST as the stretch really kicked in. @rmoltis how long do you usually continue to tighten them down before you leave them for good? I was thinking once buds started forming I would stop any stress and let them do they're thing.

That's up to you. I adjust them individually up or down to keep the canopy even in flower. It's kind of never ending lol.

One day you loosen it. A few weeks later your tops are leaning and you pull it another way etc.

Just a quick Little photo update. Hope everyone is doing well on their end. I'm getting over a nasty flu thatd going around here.
