I like the original Sugar Snaps and 8' feet of fence to climb. Plant them thick and dont thin with plenty of nitrogen. Give them a good vertical fence to climb. It puts them in climbing mode. They kind of race each other the trellis trying to get the best spots.

Yeah there is quite a few people who run Solistek gear. I personally use just the standard 600w hps Solistek bulbs.. Can't remember the exact price I paid but they come in a fancy box also. :) LOL

Things have been going well. I just finished planting some of my Fruit Tree's in between the local storm systems.. The sunshine has been out today so I can't complain. :)

How's things been going your way?? Good seeing you Smerb. :)

I vegged my first run under a 600w Solis tek bulb. Seemed legit, I think I paid $60

Sun was out for about 2 days.... I'm ok. Weekend vacation starts tomorrow, west coast beaches. Then Disneyland. Joy oh joy.... I'll be staring at shit in Disneyland high as a dab can get ya. I heard a Japanese company has a bulb for the Solistek, precision acoustic resonance. I think that's how it's splelled. Ha!

I am just back now mate, i will update in the next few days. its hard work, lots to do, but no tractors allowed :-)
For now I will recover in rows and plant annuals curently rooting in the stock sheds, in through my cardboard woodchip manure mulch matts. This is a no til site from now on mate. The soil has ben tilled to death, very little SOM, no glomalin, no pore spaces, no air, no water retention, its a big ask. I am up to it tho :-) thanks for checking in too

well said Str8, we have been in the soil for about 4 weeks now after a 2 week seed start, the covers on the hoop house and things are ramping along, we got good day temps, bad cold night temps, but the wind is swinging in the next few days, prepare for blast off

our newest field, work begins next week to plant it up.

and then one of the orange fields we are recovering now

then we have some other fruit trees we grow here, Almonds and lemons of course as examples

I dont feed legumes Nitrogen, makes no sense unless you do really like the leaves. legumes mean the plant can fix nitrogen from the air etc without us needing to add any

I didnt realize u guys were uk based until i went to 5 hydro stores and they didn't know what I was talking about. Most of them didn't have shit for organic either
