Good morning OFC, how`s it hangin" ya`ll ? Hope the sun shines on your big behind all day long. Something`s missing this morning. Could it be a session of "wake n bake" ? We can fix that. Cup of coffee and a bowl of medicinal herb. Now, bend over so I can kick ya right in the ass to get your lungs working. Now it`s puffin' n passin' time.

Hurtin' for certain this morning. Took me an hour to get all the shit loaded and the trailer hooked up to the bus. Back was already screaming. An hour of bending over picking up sticks and branches REALLY got the back whining. Half an hour mowing, fifteen minutes to unload, and off to the bar. Four large drafts, two 50mg Ultram, and a shit load of bubble helped me get to sleep. Moving pretty slow this morning. I'd spend the day in bed, but it's my day to visit Mom. Not looking forward to sitting in a chair for three hours. Musta done something down right evil in my last life! Mom's lawn looks really nice, though......

They didn't get as much snow, but a few calves had pneumonia, and one diphtheria. All in all, the canyons saved their cattle.
I flanked with the young guys, today. Wasn't sure I'd be able to hang with the 20 year olds, but I didn't even struggle. Didn't even have to take a break.
I was asked to rope, for the third set. Didn't expect that. I rode a mare that I'd never thrown a rope off of, and she was the smallest horse there. There were a couple snickers & whispers, as i cinched up. But, I stepped in the pen and roped the biggest calf. We took him to the fire at an easy trot. She was absolutely shining out there. I even took some fast shots, fast enough to make smoke come off of the saddle horn & my hand. (Ouch, but yee haw!) She got lots of compliments.
We must've made a good impression. I've been asked to work for them, on a more regular basis. Then the boss of a neighboring ranch hired me for Wednesday.
Day work, the paying kind, can be tough to find. Five of the 20 year olds just drooped, as they listened in. Out done, by someone more than twice their age, riding a pony.
The day had kind of a rough start, (my dash caught on fire, light switch melted "on".), but It turned out pretty good.

i need to snap a pic of my garden. i only did a few plants this year. messing with auto water now, if it works well then i will plant more next year. i simply do not have time to tend a garden. if i can spend the time it takes to water doing other garden chores i will be fine.
my squash is coming in good, peppers, cucumbers on the way. still no tomato..

Dog, picked up a bottle of that Stanadyne you were telling me about. They had two different flavors; one treated 60 gallons and the other 125. Bought the concentrated version. Checked the auto parts stores and nobody had it. Checked Tough Shit Charlie's and there it was.

Let`s start this day off the OFC way, with our morning ritual of "wake n bake". So, get your cup of coffee and a bowl of medicinal herb and here we go, puff, puff, cough and pass.

Yesterday had me thinking something was really wrong. Agree with ya about feeing like shit every day. Yesterday was bad. Felt like I weighed twice what I do, every thing was slow motion. Like ya said, feel like shit everyday, but yesterday felt like I had the shit kicked outta me. Old age settling in, I guess.
