Oh and one more question... I have left over tea... Can I dilute it 5/1 and water my soil plants with it till its gone? Or does it go bad? Im only meaning for soil. And I realize that the fungi prob die off in 24 hrs after i turn air pump off, but is it still all right to use for watering?

remember when I said I literally use what ever is laying around
I didnt have an end cap so I threw a ball valve on the end
as for the line
just your standard 1/4" drip line not sure about the inner and outer dia
the floracaps are sitting in the bottom of a bin in the garage that is filled with drip parts/tubing/pumps/pvc pipe of random sizes etc......pretty cool but I think it is better used on RW than my coco

drip stakes work well because when the pump goes on....the top of the pot floods and drains down evenly so it is all good I dont need the even disbursement

Right on guys. This is what I needed to get my ass into gear and get this thin built. I love your setups @Wisher619. I noticed while lurking on another thread you telling @EventHorizan anything below 18" gotta go! I'm definitely gonna utilize that this time. I got my manifolds all shaped out now just letting them go to the edge of the pots then let me grow upward.
I'm adding another light as my footprint only covers about half my room (10' wide, 1000w) so I'm thinking with a second light I could cover the entire room and won't have to worry about the ones on the outskirts.
Have you any experience with the CMH lights? I was thinking of putting in a 315 cmh with my 1000w. I was thinking it would add some spectrum while still being hps heavy. Or should I go with another 1000w dimmable mh/hps?

I always wondered about this because where I love Harborside is the big boy club and their instructions say to leave a little of the rock wool obove the media. I wondered if it was necessary.

Man I have been topping so much so early and dialing in my nutes I haven't got to see these babies at full potential. Stems growing about 3/4 inch past tie downs in the last day. Definitely want that second light so I can spread these girls out and make the most of that 18" vertical sweet spot. Haha

Bro I love it! That was a great analogy! I am just having fun. It would be boring if I didnt have you guys, since NO body sees my grow room out side of this site.
What I am, is a thought provoker. A dreamer in some ways. And I have a beginners knowledge at lots of things, from biology, chemistry, and a slight bit of physics, as in I understand that math, and formulas, explain almost everything.
AND I LOVE THAT NERDY SHIT!!!
Esp when it procures me some medicine :)
But while im over here patting my self on the back, the real acknowledgement goes to
Wisher. He spent many many many nights explaining stuff to me. LOTS AND LOTS OF INFO
When another acquaintance of ours, introduced me to him, this is what he said.
Bro ive been growing for 3 years, and I can tell you what to do, but Wisher, will tell you what to do, and I explain why your doing it! And he was 100 fucking % right...
Wisher is a no nonsense tell you how it is type of fellow, just what I respect!
Im 15 days from my year anniversary...
One day when Im bored, just for fun, im gonna build an areoponics setup.. I got some real good diy plans saved. Only reason I havent already done it is, plant count has me skittish...

No I think you WOULD want to leave the rockwool a lil up. It will waterlog IMO cause root crown rot..
But rapid rooters dont do that so they can be burried... IMO

it just feels good to be able to pass on knowledge....and watch people grow....almost exactly the same feeling as watching your plants develop and become fully mature and ripen with age

As for your cmh question. I dont have one so I cant comment. Here is what you need to understand. If your trying to pull weight right now!, to say get out the red, then a cheap 1k hps will get you there! But if you say got funds, and you want the longer investment, then cmh is prob a good choice...
Here is the real deal holyfield! Lights produce heat. Heat is your enemy. So the less heat the better, because nothing , and I mean nothing, eats electricity, like AC...
Here is my rec... Put that 1k hps in the middle, and surround it with 200 watt (4)cob on each end... U said 4x8 right?
