Just a quick little photo update. I'm loving how happy the girls are. Sitting back and letting them do their thing for a couple weeks before the flip. I think I'm gonna throw a scrog on them.

I agree! I would put a scrog on them 3 inches taller than your tallest plant. Veg till 80% of net filled, flip and hold on :)
No more topping, just scrog that hooker out

Definitely no more topping. Lol. I wasn't planning on it I want them to have lots of stress free time. And yes I think that is the way to go. Got a lot of work to do this weekend if my supply's for the watering system gets here tomorrow

Thanks bro! Ya I'm living the little one on the front. Lol. She was germed about 5 days later than the rest and I think she woulda been the runt regardless. Lol. Great structure tho. She received 1 less topping than the rest to try to catch her up a bit but she's still way smaller.

You never know, that may be the keeper pheno! But if the smoke comes out the same as another one then keep the faster growing one. The automated watering system is going to be cool. What are you going to drain into and how do you plan on getting the waste water out?

I'm going to drain into a similar tote as the Rez. I have to fab somethin up with some flex tube or pvc that I can detach to empty the waste when I change the Rez. Gonna keep it pretty simple.

Let them Veg longer and move them up again, or you'll be upset with the low yield you'll end up with. Happy Growing!

I know you commented on a picture in this thread from 3 months ago @CaliRooted but I have to ask: How much do you think the harvest would be per plant if he went into flower now? I only ask because Im doing my first LST on my plants and also plan to give them only 4-5 weeks veg time before going into flower. It's my first time trying LST and I don't want to end up dissapointed :)

bro he cant tell you what your yield would be.. There is a lot of mitigating factors.. you know when you get done

I would suggest to NOT lst
I would suggest pulling the top most leaves on the top most shoots
slowing them down and allowing the rest of the shoots to catch up
you keep doing it to what ever shoot grows taller than the others
until all shoots are equal in hight
then flip to flower
those main shoots will produce bigger buds
when you lst you allow smaller shoots to grow up with small stems which produce small buds

also
depending on if you are in hydro/coco or soil will depend on growth
if I vegged for 5 weeks my plants would be 5' tall before flower which they would then end up being 6-7' tall by end of flower

This was one of those 4 right before harvest. They ended up 24"x24" after stretch with the LST holding them down. This one girl was 3.8 oz and like I said was pretty small. But that really has nothing to do with how much you might yield. Just something to reference

So I guess there is diff grades of c02. Since my tank is new and came with paperwork from a beverage company they are putting food grade c02 in it.. Im not for sure what the diff is, but i wasnt gonna say anything diff.. Plus I cant pick it up till mon.. So when I need c02 its gonna take 3 days to refill :(
Thats a crock. This shit better last 6 weeks then! and $40 to refill...! Im gonna have to see what other distributors are around..

the difference is food or pharmaceutical grade gas is pure while non food grade has some type of powder in it
I remember getting pharma grade NOZ and it running clean but getting standard and it would leave a white dusty powder everywhere in the lines and it wouldnt boost clean

That's not a bad idea. Then I can have the waste "Rez" installed in a place permanently and won't have to drag it out to empty it. Ideally I would like to run a drain out the back side of the room but I have to also make it practical and easy to disassemble if I need it moved at all

That is exactly how i drain my rdwc sysytems/flood tables/ with a 17 gal shop vac... I dont know what I would do with out it honestly! Its invaluable!

yep.. You shouldnt have much run off really.. A small tote would hold a weeks worth..
