Here's some more knowledge for u noggin' water has touched my hoophouse plants 4 times since April. Its a fine balance of soil/peat an well maintained soil. All this nute shit is for fun an fine tuning for a level I'm not trying to get at. Salt salt salt. Can't ever see using a non organic program for outdoor. Jus not in the cards for muah. Roots dry nutes, an water. Hard to follow a program when u can't water on a reg basis. I'd love uniformity, but haven't ever seen nature do that. Roll with it, adapt, an compromise. Seems to be working....an for any newcomer, only a couple plants have names, the rest is just x's.
Gotta love drippers

This is base mix, then I add what I want an let sit. The one is basically peat an perlite. I started using the peat way back doing gorilla grows, it holds water well, I know its not great, root rott, stays wet way to long, etc. However I've found when mixed with perlite an the right amendments I do fine with it for me. I didn't start incorporating the other pro mix till I retained card an figured I could control more if I used a less absorbent medium. I think this is why I have such a problem with liquid nutes, very little xp with it. I learned gardening from grandparents who used all the classic Bone, blood, fish, meal along with other stuff, so when I started growing pot I figured I'd do the same, sounds dum but its what an how things happened. I worked at a tree nursery as a teen an they planted all their stuff with peat moss cause it held water, so I would snag some an add shit an to gorilla grows. We called it home grown. U had that or commercial Mexican brick weed.
