And as a teacher I think/i hope he would agree that the important part that seems to get left out of education today is its not about remembering and reciting facts and data but teaching how to think for yourself and come to your own conclusions and make your own informed decisions. Maybe he does but he prolly wont admit it. Lol
Agreed and that's why I like sharing this information. It's met with much resistance because people cannot fathom it. Clackamas coot was banned from every forum lmfao. I will continue to post info and leave it there. This community is lacking of information pertaining to the subject. I don't care who says what...

Here's why. People need to see it and decide if it is a path of choice. Anyone who has went no till said good bye to anything else. Another great thing about understanding this science is that it helps you see a deficiency arise before it does.

I recently saw a guy switch out of organic because he was having issue with cycled soil. I asked him what was wrong. Too muddy and had fungus gnats. Nutrient lock....all he had to do was add 1/2 cup of gypsum per cubic foot and it would have been all fixed.

Hells ya!!!

Gypsum wont fix it alone when the dirt is beat to shit... you can recharge it though...simple fox farm o f can be run 3 times with no help
No he was reamending too much. He had magnesium build up...magnesium will get you fastest in organics.

I remember someone telling me in another thread that ffof won't even take you through one cycle, never tried so idk but I've taken a mix of ffof and ffhf through 6 wks veg and first couple weeks of flower before. With some of it being reused soil.

Not meant to get through flower...just veg. I always add shit in flower.

Yeah I did that run was also first time adding microbes and the plants looked fantastic til around day 12 flower then went downhill real quick and in my own stupidity hit em with an overdose of ferts, went from one extreme to the other but alls well that ends well.

I very rarely add anything but microbes and water during veg also, plants have never seemed to need anything and the times I have added ferts I didn't really see a difference in growth rate, size or yield.

ok well dirt farmers, im heading back out on the mississippi where i do my work.. rdwc 1600 hp, twin cam UC system.. let me go get a pic of my stalk.. U guys like mens stalks? haha brb

I like to add a small dose of bloom or whatever you got day 1..... then ramp up till week 3ish... then flush at 7ish... the problem with running just soil is that its not enough.... the problem i see around week 5ish is that too many nutes have been added and it dropped the ph in the pot.... then people just add more shit without checking runoff

Curious as to what you typically add during flower?
A base and a booster.... dry nutes start day 1 of flower

Then there is root pruning and layering techniques for veg.... veg shit is too high in nitrogen for my taste

It does not have to be this.... any liquid base and dry booster work.... i have 4 pounds of kool bloom but i dont support the company anymore
