I guess 7 to 8 ft and my space is big but wanted to run 4 rows of 5 cobs (would that be 20 sq ft?) Was thinking scrog but i am a beginner (is it best to do 2 seperate scrogs under 10 cobs? )
And is it the drivers /lenzes u dont like in kit?
I noticed it drives them at 23w but im sure i could get a kit without drivers.
Cutter also have cree kits ??
Thx again for the advice :)

i dont like the driver,or the lenses. 2 of these would be awesome for 30 sq ft even better in 25 sq ft.plug n play, better drivers,no glass lenses.good for deeper canopy.http://timbergrowlights.com/redwood-vs/
or 2 of these when thy come back in stock ,save 100.00 per fixture same footprint and wattage
if you really want to build your own rig to save a few dollars go with a few of these
frames here
or these kits are pretty nice also

Thx Six was all fired up about the redwood vs and spoke to the guys at Timber who are awesome but.....
Your going to hate me but they cant ship internationally :/
I looked at cutter and not sure they stock those vero cobs which seem a much better option as half the lights half the heatsinks.
I think i can get qb288 from cobkits (not as expensive to ship so this my kit
8 x quantum 288 3000k
8x slate heatsinks (only ones i can find are single )
As for drivers please help i was thinking of doing 4 pannels of 2 or 2 pannels of 4? Is one way batter than the other?which driver do you reccomend )
Hanging kits x 2 or 4
Dimmer ?? Please help what do i need
Have i covered every thing??
Thanks again for your time
Thanks

You can use this driver for 2 x qb288 wired in series and will get about 120w per board so 240w per pair or driver.i would mount them in pairs of 2 boards so you have more options for spacing and heights plus if you did happen to lose a driver to failure you only lose 2 panels.theres tons of driver options for these boards, this just happens to be my favorite option with the heatsinks.
You should tell Bobby at cobkits you want 4 x 100k ohm dimmer knobs and make sure he checks them to read 100k,the cheap dimmer pots can be all over the place on readings.or just order those fancy dimming pots from rapidled they are about 6 bucks each but designed to be right there at 100k ohm.

the dimmers are easy, just 2 wires come off the "b" type drivers and those rapidled dimmers have 2 wires already soldered on.biggest thing is making sure you order the b type drivers and not the "a" type
for veg you have plenty of options t5 cobs, some smaller boards like the qb 120 or qb132. i used 1500w of light to veg for 13,000w of flower for years.im using about the same now, slowly switching all my t5 fixtures out for qb or cob lights.cobkits prob has the wire you need, ask him if he sells 18 ga solid wire.if not you will need to find some at amazon ect.

Oh snap! Went to buy one of the wireless controllers and they want $18 to ship! I emailed them and asked if they could ship usps instead of ups. See what they say.
