do you overtighten the refl. holders to get even preasure? seems to me when they tight the holders bend out...not bent out they not putting much preasure on the cob at all....transfering the heat im rhinking the tighter the better...

The smaller those lil holders are the easier the chips are to pop out too. My citizen holders hold chips fine but these smaller cree I had to do what you do to keep them from popping out. I also ordered thermal tape that was a lil too thick so that presented another problem.

Thx for being helpful Thc
Checked out the quantum boards they do look cool and back in stock .
I know this a ongoing debate but if you had to buy all the gear would you reccomend qbs over cobs?
If I am looking at it right the qbs seem cheaper as well as easier to assemble.
I noticed you can buy 8 x QB288 for a reasonable price.( are they the right ones?)
If i was to run the 8 would that cover 24sq ft ? (sorry im trying to learn.)
I noticed heatsinks are out of stock, also what is my best bet to drive them?as 1 or 4 panels not sure which heatsinks /drivers would be the best option.
Thx again 4 days of reading hope im getting the idea
might have to change my name to quantumpanda :)
