Ya but it must do something however small that might be... And if it is carbs and micronutrients, then how are they supposed to change the taste. I want to know how, and its delivery method thru the plant..

@Wisher619 if the buds that you harvest seeds from has PM, would the PM remain on the seed hull, and if it did, it could kill the seedlings soon as they open? right?

MW, do you have any seeds left? Lets try soaking a seed for an hr in a cap full of bleach, then lets put a drop of bleach in the cup of water. then when the tail pops, and you put it in a paper towel, use the water from the cup.

they're all dead and gone m8. I'm over it. Got the Ocean Grown seeds coming on Monday

that could potentially happen
but all you would have to do is soak the seed in some H2O2
I just think they are bad
werent taken long enough
werent push with P/K during the seed growth stage and the seeds just werent viable
tou should be dumping p/k when the seeds are frowing as that is what gives the seeds life

Ya but I grew seeds and didnt do anything special and they hatch perfectly... U seem to have to be a dummy to not get viable seeds... or maybe im just to green to understand

can also have to do with pulling plants early for harvest and the seeds arent all the way ripe
or the chemicals you use to make self seeds hinder the seeds
I made a comment that will probably get me banned

I would swear they go into hibernation every 2 weeks, for a week and dont eat nothing.. They havent dropped the ppm in 3 weeks. I have actually gained 30 ppm from ph up... So I drained the system, and refilled..
Its like they haven't ate nothing but yet swelled up like crazy...
@Thejoeybrown I know you like mysteries and you know just as well, we learn things from these situations.. I just thought you might want to watch this too, because the plant is talking, and I know you like to listen..
There is something to be learned here, eventho at this point im not for sure what it is...
I had to feed in VEG, and first 3 weeks of flower, but since then, not really shit...
Im at day 56 and thier sister which i just ran alongside the cookie glue was ready at 65 days..
but yet as you see, we are at least

Ya first runs are just to get the bugs worked out... Wait till you see this next round! Im going as hard as I can.. All year.... I got till summer of 2019 to get it in... Then I move and become hippy grandpa, with just a little 500 watt led personal setup for me and the fam..

A smart man once told me, if you aint got no end game you aint got no plan... And if your gonna do it, then do the damn thing. So my compostion skills say that means, run balls to the wall right off jump street, and get it in for 3 to 5 years, and walk away. Just as soon as you can grow, procure a prime cut, and you secure a dispensary to take your product, then petal to the metal... I got 2 years in and hind sight tells me I should of did more with that time...

You got the right idea bro. You can still fully have your hobby and grow a good amount of bud with a 4x4, and a chilled. But you also get to have all the time in the world to be poppy! Enjoy it

@Wisher619 could you explain how sweet raw makes buds taste better? What would happen if we ran 150 ppm base and 150 ppm sweet raw in my last 2 weeks? It wouldnt cause a dif in any other areas would it?
Im really gearing up to try it.
How about 0 ppm base and 200 ppm sweet raw? Would that cause a problem?
Does the plant pull the sweet raw up into the flowers? Is sweet raw a sugar or a salt?

Edit... Another question in my rdwc
If I ran straight water do you think my buds would finish on thier own? By using the n stored in the fan leaves and sugar leaves?

I didn’t taste any difference with the sweet raw. And all it did was make my ph drop slightly if left standing alone for like 5 days in my Rez. Didn’t ever hurt anything just had to watch ph and mix it a lil. Why I’m sticking with just base and silica in the res and using The tea to boost uptake. It does work in the res but not as stable as the base and silica alone

Well im down to the last few weeks of maturation. Im at 180 ppm right now. I could run straight sweet raw... What do you think? In my rdwc? Doesnt the curiosity make you wanna know too? lol?

I don’t think it would hurt at all. Just watch the ph see if it drops a lil. Might stay true. I’m definitely curious to see what you think of it.

all it is are saccrins and magnesium sulfate
so basically Sulfur/Magnesium/sugar
aint gonna hurt but it aint gonna do anything good
I would say
run your clearing solution in the res for 24-48 hours ph'd to 5.5
then run just water till they are done
in all honesty
I would run something like 150ppm p/k boost or just keep the Ripe until final days
just so the osmotic pressure dosnt drop in the plant
when that happens the cell walls burst...not good
so keep some salt in the system
then like the last 2 days run the florakleen
the sugar and mg s aint gonna do anything for you but the p/k will help your plant finish hard
