ohhh I dont like changing the light schedule. I mean, the plant has an internal clock. If your gonna change it, then do it in the off cycle, that way it gets 13 hrs of darkness, by changing it to 7pm from 6 pm
Pefrct. Thats exactly what i did. I wanted to make sure i didnt cut the lights off short soo i alteady changed it to come on at 7pm tonight soo thry should get 13hrs of dark then back to reg schedule just starting at 7. Thats gonna be okay right? N i moved all my feed times 1 hr back to adjust too that way there all still 4 hrs apart n now i can just wake up n feed tea monday mornings at 6 and they will get there reg feed and get all monday to soak n the tea until lights back on at 7 at night

Alright, like I said not setting everything up yet since I'm going to wait on that timer that's coming tomorrow. Couple things, I think I'm going to glue everything aside from the 90 degree coming out of the res. There was a slow, but steady, leak coming from the bottom of the PVC valve. But that was really about it. Everything seems to flow nicely and so on.

Alright so, it's a 6 valve manifold, I have 5 plants. What do I do with the 6th. I have it closed, but again, very slow leak. I'm thinking I just put a small thing of hose on it, and zip tie the shit out of it in a loop to essentially kink it.

I actually ran 2 drippers into both plants n i put the last 2 hoses cut off into the waste rez. Barely anything comes out anyways. I have the exact same manifold.

2 hoses is easy, just make a loop out of them and close the valves. I might just have to run the 6th one into the res I guess. It's literally probably 5 drops a minute type stuff but still annoying

@EventHorizan soo im wondering about my pump. You know you say its the same one alot of people here use. Im wondering if its messed up and thats why im having to run it for 5/6min at the time to get runoff. I mean i was messing with it today testing and it looks like i can get about 1/2-3/4 of a solo cup running 2 drippers into 1 cup for about a minute. Is that slow about average? I know i came in the room one time and the pump was pumping alot of air and i know it says u mist have water pumping thru at all times. There was a little water going thru but the rez was almost empty. That was when i just got my timer n sverything setup n it was on for too long. Any ideas on this. Pretty sure my water pump was like 50gph or somthing like that. It jus seems like having 3 drippers per plant i shouldnt have to run the pump for 6 minutes to get runoff.this is my first rodeo im just pretty sure i remember seeing u guys talking about feeding for a min or 2 at most.

I would just run all extras shut off with loop into the waste or rez whichever is closer. Shouldnt even be enough flow to make any difference.

perfect! You are successful because you have common sense.. It serves you well!

If you wanted we could build a dtw in a coo-laid pitcher, that only came on Sun Night for 25... :)
there is always a way, just got to smoke and think on it... Ua'hos tribe

I just make a pinched loop and zip-tied it. Was barely dripping, now it shouldn't drip at all. I glued the straight aspect of everything below the manifold and left everything after that unglued.

I think everything is as far as I'm going to get it today until that timer comes. Just gotta secure the drips on each plant at this point. Not doing that until my test run(s) with the new timer though.

That is exactly what you do and make sure to push them drippers in so they dont leak.

So yeah, realistically won't switch to 12/12 until tomorrow. I'll set the timer to come on at 8 am tomorrow then switch to it 8pm shutoff. Then it's off to the races
Just a thought, I may be way off but didn't you get a really strong pump? Is there any chance it's being restricted too much? I'm thinking maybe run all the unused valves back to the res and leave them on full blast to oxygenate the res.

550 GPH

I'm thinking the video game is right. Eagle win easily. I'm no expert, but it seems like the pats barely got here whereas the eagles kind of stomped almost everyone.

kind of a waterfall technique.
it really isnt needed in dtw.. Air in dwc, the rest just messes with ph, and sets up an environment for biological activity, and you want the activity in the root zone not in your reservoir.
esp if molasses, or products containing molasses, are added too.. Which im against too...
I used to use a waterfall, then i tried without and no difference accept the ph stays stable now
