Yeah the yellow tips are mainly on new growth there’s not much at all and I’m using the recomended amount according to the grow schedule I’m switching them over to 12/12 next Monday do you think I should give them a heavy water tomorrow with just normal (. Ph of 6.3 ) water till I go into flowering then start with 1/2 strength nutrients in my water ?
Just MO..Those "recommended" schedules need to be altered depending on strain..in fact even siblings can react differently to all sorts of things..Nutrients included..Less is MORE!!

I’m going to cut the doesage down to half and do a feed every other water and make sure I see 15% run off then leave for 2/3 days before watering again see if this helps out

Once u switch into flowering about 3 days 12 and 12 or whatever it triggers fast growth you're gonna wanna cater to a higher pk feed while gradually removing the nitrogen..

That's the beginning of nute burn..seems a bit early to see that now..don't let it progress (lower your doses a bit) as the plants will need those leaves later to feed off.
Later in flower (from about 5 weeks), I feed heavily so as to LIGHTLY stress the plants so hopefully I get a lil more Trichome production. I always see those tips at taht time.

Good to be vigilant, but plz, no strokes..LOL

I’m just giving the ladies water today ph of 6.3 then will give them water again in 2/3 days with a ph of 6.3 then next week when I switch. To 12/12 I will give them half does of nutrients see if this helps with the yellow tips

Do as you wish..But that IS the beginning of Nute burn..Feeding more will just make things worse!

This most likely not the result of yesterday's activities,,,,more like those from last week, so they are getting food from somewhere..

My bad..What was your soil again? FFOF has enough nutes for at least 3 weeks and feeding until then is NOT recommended..(I thought you used that as a mix?)
Think like this..LIGHTS are the FOOD and Nutes are like Vitamins.

No I’m not using any nutrients just ph water and yes I’m in soil I’m going to start using nutrients again next week when I flip to 12/12 but only going to use half doesage if you catch my drift and I used house and garden van de zwaan

AND why do you want your watering PH to be at 6.3? Seems a bit low..I like avg about 6.5 and vary mine from 6.4-6.7..Never had a lockout either..HOWEVER ONE plant did OD on potassium one time..Had to nurse her through til the end, but it was worth it (00 Kush- 00 seeds)

I’ll put my ph up to 6.5

H&G is supposed to be a great line, if it's the same one here (USA),. Never used it myself , but I hear good things about them.
We are crossing posts and what was the soil brand again?

GOOD, and always VARY the PH (try for 6.4-6.7) from watering to watering although it is not critical in soil grows, over time poor ph will take its toll. Varying PH allows different elements to be taken at different levels by the plant.
ERROR..Should have been 6.4-6.7..Too medicated and it still early here..LOL

Hard to tell under the HPS light, but the 2nd picture from the BOTTOM clearly shows the burn..Otherwise..looking good.
This is an earlier grow of GDP (about 5 weeks in) clearly showing my own (controlled) NUTE BURN:)

This is for soil based growing and the idea is not to feed the plant until the plant has eaten most of the nutrients available in the soil.

After that you can feed every time you water because the plant needs to eat and the soil has no plant food left it can provide the plant.

This is when you can feed every time but you also don't want to feed more than 600 ppm a week if you grow under a 600 watt light for example

it's like if you have a 1000 watt your limit is 1000 ppm etc.

So i use a 600 hps for our medicine needs and usually after a month of having roots in their final bucket i feed 600 ppm once a week.

if you need to water more than once a week your in to small of a container for soil media grow.

you wanna be in a container just big enough to water once a week that's the trick.
