3/7 garden update

Well I hoped to pop all my seed at the same time but I had a lil mix up with my seeds so it looks like the others it will catch up to us. Ordered here from the forum and had a little mistake with a stock issue, but were awesome enough to send me the seeds I really wanted (but couldn’t afford) to me! Can’t wait to get them in. I went for the chem cookies from divine genetics. Two of my all time favorites mixed sounds like great mix (Chemdog #4 x Girl Scout Cookies). Other than that today my 3x dankalicious seeds and a bag seed that I got out of a tai lemon something I got out of some weed out of Oregon. I’m only doing my legal six plants because I really don’t need more than that honestly and I covers the other patients that I provide for. Hoping to get a big enough crop to donate to weed for warriors! I really believe In giving back to those who need it the most. Pots have cooled off and soil temps are in the low 60’s at night. Tried a hand at a compost tea the other day. Didn’t really froth up at all but brewed about 30 gallons for 48 hours and gave it to the pots. Figured really couldn’t hurt and they needed some water. Also made a small hoop for my seedlings to help with the low temps at night and can extend to light hours a lil with a CFL If I choose too. Nothing fancy just using some spare parts had around the house.

Stay green. Puff puff Smokey out

Also anyone heard of this stain ”dankalicious” by 707 Swedbank before? My friend brought it back to me from emerald cup and dont know anything about it really. I’m growing one out right now in my make shift cheep grow closet and got a little girl. She sits kind of low in between the node regions kind like a Kush style plant. Leaves look like Indica dominate traits. I’ll try a shoot a few pics soon. She’s about 2 weeks into flower. If you have any info please send it my way!

just so you know, tea shouldnt over foam, its better to have less foam imo as this is less O2 being lost to the air as the bubbles burst on the surface...think of a fish tank, you dont see these all foaming do ya?

Makes sense. Well then maybe I did get it right! Yay! Thanks eco for the correction. If you see any other corrections in the future please let me know too. I rather look dumb and not mess up my garden than be a harda$$ that can’t take advice from anyone.

if what i am seeing is the start, you are going to rock it out partner :-) keep it up, pass the learning afterwards :-)

3/13 update.

Finally got all my seeds in, so second round of seeds are set for germination.
3x chem cookies, 4x double og Sour diesel, and 4x 5g’s red. Hopefully a killer lineup.

Also got the compost tea brewer system set up and ready for action. I put the tea brewer on my deck to use gravity to send it down the pipe to the hoop house so its not damaging any of the biology of the tea. There is also a valve in the front so you can fill a 5 gallon bucket as well. It’s hard to explain so hopefully some pictures soon will help.

sounds like your set up is coming together nicely brother, keep it up and may the grow gods smile on you

Wish I would have found this thread earlier. You’re off to a great start. Reminds me I need to quit planning and start acting on this years crop. Happy growing, looks like you have some great seeds to grow.

Update on seeds. some of them are getting there tap roots so there going to get planted into one gallon fabric pots and put under the 8 tube 4’ t5. 16/8 light schedule to help get them ready for outside.

4/5 garden update:

Had to leave for 2 weeks and left someone in charge of my plants.... well... they didn’t do that well. Lost about 4 or 5 seedlings but like me a always plant double what I need. There in shock a little but most are getting back in the swing of things. Got some “autoflower seeds” from Craigslist that I popped early as a project to test the greenhouse going as well. Who knows is if there actually autos but I really hope so that I can get a mid season harvest. The gentleman that sold them to me said there royal jack, amnesia haze, and Afghan. Had a few days of great sun now back to more rain. Got a tent for $20 on CL and scored a t5 from a friend. Set it up and put some seedlings in there on a 16/8 schedule. Got some double OG SD (rebel grown), 5g’s red (also rebel grown), my one survivor chem cookies, blueberry cookies (seeded unit from the hill) (figured I had a ton of them so why not) , a dankalicious (brought back from emerald cup, 707 Swedbank) and a seed from a lemon tai that I had. smoked before I planted seeds and double seeded one pot lol. Also had a chicken come and try and eat a few but there surviving lol

I brought autos from a legit company and got full term plants, nothing is a sure thing and dont worry, the plants look ok to me.

Garden update 6/11:

It’s been a min since I have done a update so I figured it was time. Garden got reconfigured to have a small dep and 2 full term (200 gal) plants (chem cookies and 2x og sd). The autos I got ended up not being autos so into the dep they go along with a hand full of gorilla glue clones. All the plants look a little thin because I just took some clones and defoliated. It’s been a learning experience this year but getting ready for some sunny days ahead.

Garden update 7/31:
Girls are getting bigger. As alaways things change in my garden but we’re pretty set now with 4x 200 gal (chem cookies,5G’s red, GG4, double OD SD) and 2x 45 gal (gsc, angel food cake) put there 3rd layer of caging on and getting ready for flowering. Still just feeding teas and building the soil. Also trying to practice my indoor growing with COB lights. Here is a sexy purple punch from the tent.

awesome job buddy.

@Ecompost so I use cow and horse manure but all I did was top dress my beds in autumn and let it sit but this last outdoor cycle was not to my standards so I would love to improve it. What would you suggest I add to my soil this year in terms of the most affordable and organic way possible? How would I integrate the concept of living soil other than adding worms and planting a cover crop? Is there any books you recommend for organic gardening or youtube channels or threads on here.
thanks in advance
I got a thread going right now using just 400 gallons of composted amended cow manure. (Growing some monsters outdoor scrog)
Since I switched to just manure I've never seen growth like this...and mind you I live in northern Wisconsin...Southern states would do much better with warmer night temps. (We still get in the 40s at night.
