Grow Log 9/30/18 (outdoor garden)

Fed the girls the HBB and Hi-Brix molasses. Expecting a nice growth and swelling bump. Been rationing nutes for the last few weeks. Fogging or spraying Nuke Em this evening. Anyone know if Nuke Em works in a propane thermal fogger?

Thanks brother.

They're nowhere near done yet. Gained at least a 5% swell since this morning. Looks like that Hawaiian stuff is the real deal, and if it is, next year's crop is going to cost me 90% less. That's a big deal being that I'm on a fixed income. It will also enable me to afford to use Nuke Em proactively and on a regular basis. No more mite induced growth stalls. My hydro shop guy is cheaper than Amazon too.

When you see those rosettes begin to look like plump carnations they'll be ready in 1-2 weeks. I plan on running them right to the end of the golden week for a 15-30% senescence and get those full on couch stuck hammered sh*t effects. That's what moves the best. After I have my big harvest in and my beans finished I'll focus my tent grows on the more sophisticated intellectual highs at 3-10% senescence.

I'm praying I can get rid of a lot of it this year.

I rebuilt my little 11.6" Acer 725 netbook with a new CPU, GPU, and gave it around a 20% graphics boost by replacing the thermal gum on the GPU cooler with an intermediary copper heat sink, Arctic Silver thermal paste, and 4GB of 1666 RAM. Will max out its RAM to the unpublished max 8GB of 1666. It was the only netbook in its class with a truly capable GPU and can run Fallout NV on med settings. But its little dual core 1GHz (1.333GHz turbo) C60 Fury CPU, as capable as it once was, is getting too old to keep up with the modern stuff. I need a new gaming laptop with at least an 8300H i5 and GTX1050ti GPU, but preferably an i7 w/6GB GTX1060 GPU to have a second, portable, VR machine on the cheap. It would also be sick to upgrade my Onyx X99 with the Hybrid GTX1080 FTW to an RTX2080 that's better suited for 4K. Already have another X99 MOBO (Asrock Taichi) and Thermaltake X5 case. With a spare GTX1080 all I'd need is another i7 6850k, 16GB 3200 RAM, and a power supply for a second desktop VR machine.

Really need some moolah $$$

OK, I couldn't get Nuke Em to work in my thermal fogger today. At least not mixed according to the label and set with the fogger instructions. It did produce white fog but it took pumping it 4-5x per sec compared to 1x every 3-4 sec as per instructions. Since it did produce some white fog it's possible I didn't have it hot enough or maybe it needed to be primed somehow. I'll test it tomorrow with straight water and see what results I get. Worst case scenario I use it with pyrethrin insecticide next year.

Used my pump sprayer instead. Took 3.5 gal. If I can get it to work in the fogger it should use a tiny fraction of that amount next time.

I am way too poor this month to be forking out a gang of $$$ for nutes and I still need to buy Nuke Em. I was looking for cheaper bloom nutes and found Hawaiian Bud and Bloom. It has very close to the same NPK as everything I'm using now, (Tiger Bloom, Earth Juice Guano, and Beastie Bloomz) all in one product and 3lbs is only ! NPK is 5-50-17. If this works it could be my new all-in-one bloom nutes. Anyone want to weigh in?

Everything is looking great and the health of the seedlings looks wonderful. Those peat pots sure worked just fine. I use a mineral fertilizer with coco coir called veg+bloom when I do indoor plants and it works well for me. Hope you don't mind a couple examples of the grow. It's the only product I use inside besides a PK boost but I might drop that next run. In my experience with mineral fertilizers less is more so I would always air on the side of caution but you already know this. It can be some really strong stuff! Much less forgiving than organic inputs. Loving the DSLR pictures man

Thanks.

Post pics any time you want. Wow!, those are some busty girls. What are they, Widow or Rhino?

I need to get some successful tent grows in soil under my belt before I start experimenting with new mediums. That way I can focus on dialing in my lights without making the process overly complicated. That, and I enjoy growing in soil. If I ever do coco or hydro it will probably be in addition to soil grows, not instead of.

Thanks for the pics.

I like that mindset on getting tent experience. Definitely better to have less variables to get the feel for things inside. I sure do love growing in soil as well and it's fun to see all the different growing styles whether it's organic, inorganic, or the hyrbid approach.

@WhtChocolate They are Royal Highness from Humboldt Seed Company. It is Royal Kush x Cali Dream x Trainwreck.

Yup, I need the security of a baseline because my OCD would have me constantly fiddling with with all those variables and I'd get totally stressed out.

Those are some seriously stout colas. Very impressive girth and beautiful rosettes.

Been a busy day. Finally can sit down and enjoy a mixed bowl of RNK & BIC and a ginger beer.

My smoke shop guy knows I like to collect animal pipes. The stranger the better. Especially if they look cobalt blue, or close to it.

He put this one aside for me when he got the order in.

I have more outdoor DSLR pics to upload but the COBs on my deck are totally screwing with my cellular WiFi reception so my uploads keep getting errors.
