Those babies are looking really nice, very heavily influenced by its indica genetics in its growth habits. They look like they should make a perfect plant for your Growing Rack. Have you considered leaving one untopped to determine if they produce better topped or not?

I may just depends if I can get a nice cutting from the lowers or not. I really want to get these into flowering ASAP to see what I’ve got so that’s the main concern. Hoping to see preflowers anytime now. I think the taller one is a male but who knows. Neither are showing any signs yet.

A bit off topic but here’s a look at the inside of a rapid rooter plug with a rooted cutting inside of it. I was discarding this cut as I have several others that are ready and I have no room for it currently.

Anyhow I used clonex gel and allowed this clone to go several weeks past when it developed roots. It actually started growing hydroponically but was stunted due to lack of nutrients. I used plain tap water at a ph of 7.2. But the roots look pretty healthy and had I planted it, it would have taken off quickly.

I wanted to show how roots like growing down vs out to the side. They grow out to the side when downward mobility is limiting their travel. Why is this important? It’s the main principal in my product The Growing Pot. I’ve observed this behavior over a number of years with many plants. I know it’s not ground breaking science but it’s one driving factor behind my products design.

Now on to the next batch of clones.

Oh and here’s a quick update on the UZI Cookies. They are growing nicely. Just uppotted they again a couple days ago as the roots had filled out the smaller pots in just a couple days. Trying not to limit their growth too much with too small of pots.

Ps I just foliar fed them. Sorry for the wet plants pic.

Day 32. Still no signs of sexual maturity. They are almost ready to be topped though and readied for flowering. Hoping to see signs soon.

32 days seems a bit early to show sex, no? I thought it's usually around week 6 of growth that they show sex. But if you throw 'em into flower they will show sex no mater how old they are.

Yeah I’m expecting them to show between now and then. AK usually shows pretty early and Cookies N Cream a little later so we’ll see. Any day now though and I should wake up to a surprise.

Yeah this is going to be an interesting cross. I know both mom and dad can take stress and not be any worse for wear so I’m hoping we got a solid hybrid here. It’s looking like it’s a little more cookies leaning but that’s ok. Solodolo is growing some out in his rdwc setup so it’ll be interesting for sure. Let me know if you want any beans.

Thanks man. I've got like 16 strains and only enough room to grow 9 plants. Going to try to talk my cousin into letting me run the greenhouse this year.
