I think cold well water would take off enough so that I wouldn't try it, but if my OD plants ever have mildew or mold or anything nasty I'd just toss the shit.

Why would merely cold water break off trichomes. It still takes agitation to get them off even when frozen, in ice water or even dry ice.

those would dry so fast here! that was a concern but not now. thanks

I am not vouching for this method as i have never rinsed buds. I grow i door and filter the intake air to keep everything clean. I just remembered i saw this and you guys were talking about rinsing.

well thanks! I found a new gummie recipe that is just like the professional ones so I am going to make lots of medibles with this crop. Thinking I am eating just one less dead bug is worth it 😁

Honestly i drool over the huge outdoor plants i see but when i see and hear all the pitfalls i am glad for my little indoor garden.

Are you guys messing with me? You don't actually rinse off your buds.............? Must be you guys out west have different issues and ways to deal with them...never ever would I rinse off my buds especially with baking soda and lime juice...I don't get it, but that's OK. Forget I asked.

We all have different ways of doing shit. Didn’t wash for years. Finally one year did an experiment and washed half, just dried half. Preferred the washed bud. I grow for myself mainly. Give away to friends and family. I also store for 12+ months. It works for me. No reason to change.

It’s not a new concept. I’ll tell you, first time scared the bejeebus out of me. Still question myself when I go in for a good dunk. I prefer it esp now that I don’t grow indoors anymore and there’s a ton of airborne things sticking to our trichs. I’m always amazed at just the dust alone that comes off.

When I think about it. I’ve also just done h2o2 instead of lemon and baking soda but prefer lemon and baking soda. And also, got the steps wrong. First bucket is the agent. Second bucket is the hot/warm water. Third is cool ro/di.

Do some reading on it. There’s tons of threads all over. Have yet to see people who did it come back negative on it. They are easy positive or neutral. Do a search for doc buds bud washing.

Word I would do it in h2o2 with warm water, that makes sense. But not baking soda and lime juice lolThat might ruin the trycrom

It doesn’t. And lemon juice not lime. It acts as a cleaning agent. Does it flawlessly. And is actually less harsh then h2o2
