Getting behind on posting as my working on my new home is kicking my ass.
The problem with getting old is your brain doesn't comprehend that you're not 30 anymore ;)

Aurora Indica FTF, so I put another bean in the pot, (not pictured).

GSC came down...

Some Da Bear coming down soon. She's pretty much all cloudy.
But time wise she's only at 61 or 62 daze, 12/12/10/16.

I seem to have a problem. It appears to be a critter problem 🀬 But I’m not 100% sure that’s it.

I had these tiny little white bugs in my hydro buckets previously. I never did identify them. And I thought I got rid of them with a delay in the start of the next round.

At that time there appeared to be no damage being done.

Now I have the bugs? again and the fan leaves seem to be drying / shriveling up.

There’s one ECSD that for whatever reason seems to be a dud. The other three are Blue Dream, only two of them are affected.

I hit them with neem. I hit them with Forbid 4F. I have to see if I can put that into the soup. I just did foliar, but it’s a systemic soo.

First two pics are leaf damage. Third pic is a decent sized Blue Dream that had some lower leaf die off that quickly moved up the plant. Not a great pic. Should have turned off the LED πŸ™„ Pic two is the same plant as pic three.

Forth pic is the unaffected Blue Dream that is stretching it’s way into the upper support. That’s a 2’x2’ SCROG. 6” between the screens.

Last pic is one of the critters on my finger.

Rez temp is 69.4F
Running Lucas Formula about 1800um
pH 5.89

Could be springtails. Harmless to your plants. I had them for quite a few grows and never had any issues. They can float on and jump from the top of water. They jump a lot that's why their called spring tail.

Thanks man. That describes them perfectly. They float and flit around the water as well as crawl up the sides of the buckets.
I'm wondering if I don't have a calcium def even though I'm running almost a max soup mix?

Here’s a pic with a bug on the leaf. It looks very similar to what’s inside the bucket. The color is darker though. Maybe because it’s in the light? Maybe it’s a different bug?

I would guess it's probably a different bug. I'm pretty sure I never saw any spring tails climb up on my leaves. Maybe I just never noticed. Mine would live in the medium and I mostly only seen them when I watered. The first time I saw them I freaked, but after a little research I let them go and never had any issues. It's hard to see in that pic. I had thrips bad outside. It could be that, but mine were black with a white spot in the middle. They are slow to react especially when it's cold so they are pretty easy to smash with your fingers as long as you're not super slow about it. Thrips aslo leave kind of silvery snail trail looking damage on the tops of leaves from where they bite them. We need a better pic of this one. It looks like the cam focused on your fingers instead of the bug.

What are you feeding them?
What is your current PPM?
Res Temp?
Tent Temp?
Current PH?
Room temp?
🍻

So here’s a video of the one bucket.

Not sure what happened to my last post. Had all my specs in there.

Lucas formula 1800EC, ppm is for suckers. Without knowing the conversion factor of the meter, ppm is useless.
Soup is 69.4F
pH 5.89
No tent
Temp is 68-74F

Also, since it’s not affecting every plant, it’s not temp, it’s not pH, it’s not EC.

Three of the four hydro plants are the same strain from the same mother. Two are fucked, the other is doing great. It’s a recirculating system so they all drink the same.

I added some calcium & magnesium today just because.

This is about as good as my phone will do. Maybe I'll get lucky after my GF gets home and find another one. She's got an iPhone 11. Much better camera ;)

I'm pretty sure the ones in the water are springtails. The ones on the leaves may be spider mites. Need a better closeup. You should look at them through a loupe and compare them to pitcures of mites on google images.

Please turn off the blurple lights as well.

Couldn't manage to find any bugs under the leaves. I took a few shots of the damage though.

So far, research is looking most like blister mite and or rust mite damage. However, neither of those look like the critters I’m seeing under the leaves πŸ™„

Double checked the meters, pH was off .05
EC/ppm is a little high after adding cal & mag. 2232/1116 @ .5 conversion.

Im gonna pull 2 gallons out of the rez and add 2 gallons of fresh RO to drop it down to where it should be at 1894/947 max.

Found some damage on my youngsters.

I don’t know if the second pic will blow up enough but there are lots of tiny holes in the undersides of the leaves. Finally got my phone camera to focus properly on the leaf πŸ™„

So I did a light spray of Forbid on everything. Gave them some lights out time. Fingers crossed 🀞🏻

I may have to burn the house down soon πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚
