Fed everything a ewc/kelp/alfalfa/neem tea this am. Of my sour diesels, none have sprouted. Two have just stayed little green bumps and two never did anything after being planted. I did not let the tap roots develop in the paper towel and I suspect my soul was maybe too hot for them. I’m still Keri g the two but have started soaking two more seeds. Ugh. Sucks. I’ll console myself with flowers.

Added some minerals to the big bag. Azomite, oyster shell, bone meal, gypsum. Mixed with malted barley and scratched and watered in.
2ond try at germinating the California sour diesel resulted in only one seed cracking so far. I put that in a starter mix with humidity bag. Hope I get something from this purchase.
perpetual flowers.

So I started another two seeds and this time only one cracked and put out a tap root. I got that one into a starter mix but I’m disappointed. In the past I have not had any trouble germinating seeds. I am using the same technique as I have before. I’m frustrated. I’m sure different strains are, well, different, and maybe this is a difficult strain to germ? Ugh. I’ve got four left of 10. Going to research techniques and make a plan before I soak any more. Maybe someone has a suggestion.

Sent to Seeds Here Now Customer Support
I’m interested in getting some support for my purchase. I have bought seeds for you on two previous occasions and had no trouble germinating. In fact I got 100% with Ethos Chem Og and THSeeds Chocolate chunk. My new pack of HSC California Sour Diesel is 0 for 6 so far. I’ve tried to pop 3 at a time twice and each time only one seed developed a tap root. (Paper towel method) In both cases the sprout never formed even though they were carefully placed in a seed starting mix with humidity dome at proper temps. Are others having trouble with these seeds? Is there a special technique I need to employ? I don’t want to waste my last 4 seeds and get zero results. I would appreciate any help you can suggest.

Seeds here now got right back to me and is sending another pack. No comment on wether others are having trouble with this strain. Put the last 4 from the first pack straight into jiffy pellets with mycos. Try that.

I’ll try that. I Ve never had a problem germinating before. I’ll definitely add the peroxide step to the next attempt. Thank you for the advice.

Flower is looking colorful and tasty. Took down an Afghan Peach this morning. Veg looking a bit underfed. Clones. And 4 seeds that went right into jiffy’s. Ipm this week was Pfr-97. Fed everything kelp, mammoth p, Tuesday.

Frosty flowers. Today I noticed soul mites in the big bag. I could see them on the solo cup “collars” around the base of each stalk. Sure hope those are friendly bugs that don’t like herb. So fascinating. I need to figure out how to trap and identify them.

It’s very pungent, Kanzeon, very strong too. A crowd pleaser because it is so aromatic and tasty. I grow two indicas right now. This and Chocolate Chunk. If I were to compare the two the peach has all the odor and taste over the other, but the CC has a nuance in its high that I really dig. Less bag appeal, less nose for sure but a real cool buzz. That’s why I keep them both.
hey we got a pop from the Diesel at last.

Got a little time to clean and trim a bit. Two of the California sour diesel seeds have now popped. 2 for 10. Seeds here now was brilliant and sent me a new pack which I have already received. Kudos to Becky at customer service. Anyway I’m back to being psyched to grow this out. Hope it meets expectations. Veg is recovering from neglect and a batch of clones is just starting to show root tips through the jiffy’s. An afghan peach is hanging in the drying box. A White widow just got trimmed up and put in a bag for cure. Pictured is a tiny low larf bud still frosty af. Life is good. Praise Jah.

Flowers are all getting done at the same time. I was trying to avoid this. I don’t want to alert the whole town that I’m drying herb. Tropicana cookies, Afghan peach and chem og all showing very cloudy trichs. A few amber heads are popping up as well. I’ve already got an Afghan peach in the drying box. Oh my! Good problems to have I guess.
